OUCH! - My trip to the ER!

It is so hard to type right now. I only got 3 stitches. Looks like I could have gotten one more, but I will live! Hurts like hell though. I swear I saw my bone. It was deep...but my fingers arent' that fat so it wouldn't have taken much to cut right through huhj!! So I called out of work because I am really limited in finger movement right now and believe it or not I use my hands a lot. SUCKS. I am off for 11 days now. So I won't be getting paid, which is going to suck!

Sorry this was long...LOL I took me awhile. I am using my middle finger in place of my index...LOL!! Thanks for reading!

Couldn't you collect short term disability? I know it's just 11 days, but that really adds up!!!

I hope your finger is feeling better soon, and try to enjoy the 11 days off work as much as you can. At least you will get to spend more time with Alison

Heather replied: Thank you everyone! It is really hurting me today. And of course earlier today I was letting it "air out" and I bump it really hard against the counter top. OMG, I screamed so loud, I scared Ali. Poor thing.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: That just BLOWS. My hubby did something similar to his thumb not that long ago....except it involved a carrot slicer and 4 stiches. Gross.
