OMGosh, PSYCHO ex employee - I really can't belive some people! long

luvmykids wrote: We had an employee who was bad news when we hired him but Jeff has a soft spot for people trying to find a secone chance. For 4 years this guy really was great, turned himself around, became a close friend of our family.

We started a job in his hometown and thought it would be kind of a reward to move him down there. Sure enough he fell back in with his old crowd and we started having all kinds of trouble with him, the final straw was when he totaled a company truck while driving drunk and he got fired.

Well he went out for revenge this weekend, big big big rampage.

Jeff has a car, his baby, (and a Mercedes at that:unsure:) this guy keyed "FAG BOY" and "Jeff sucks c****" all over it. Ok, pretty bad. I've never seen him in such a tailspin and so mad.

Then I get a phone call late last night from some girl telling me DH is having an affair with her. I fell for it, but then she started telling me stuff that sounded funny, like too scripted but I was still a little freaked out. So we hang up after an hour on the phone and I tell DH all about it, and I'm (like an idiot) looking on his cell phone for the number she says he calls her at and it's there. I freak out and he calls it, sure enough it's this ex employees moms house.

This morning we get a call from our horse trainer, all of our horses are out. "Someone" opened all the stalls last night and even worse, all the gates.

This guy is seriously out there. We called the police and had to get restraining orders on all our job sites, our barn, the employees house where the car is, our office and our house. Thank the Lord he doesn't know where we live now or I think I would be in the witness protection program but we did it just in case.

I just can't believe this guy, it has been a totally surreal day and I can't even hardly wrap my mind around the stuff thats going on.

JP&KJMOM replied: OMG Monica I am sooo sorry. ITA with you at least he does not know where you live. If he does find out pack them babies and come to Texas. I will make room for all of yall. hug.gif Be careful sweetie and make sure Jeff is careful also. Sounds like he might get worse before better.

amynicole21 replied: Holy Cow! I can't believe that! I hope the police are able to hold him and prosecute. YIKES blink.gif

kimberley replied: ohmy.gif omg! what a nut job!!!! i am so sorry that happened to you both. i hope the cops can lock him up! hug.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: YOWZA!! That is horrible, that he would go to such lengths to get his revenge! I hope they apprehend him at some point, before he can do any more harm. hug.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: what a wack job
This is the thanks to your husband for giving him a chance
Shesh I hope everything gets taken care of and I hope the only thing he sees for years is the bars in jail cell and I cant say the rest lol

kayla's mama replied: OMG what a nut case!!!! Hope the police can get ahold of him.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: WOW!! Well I am glad that you got the restraining order. Isn't it amazing even though you think you know someone you really don't know them at all!

luvmykids replied:
I'm so shocked, I think more that it's actually him doing all this than the fact that it's happening, kwim? I can't believe this guy has sat at our table and shared dinner with our family, changed my tire in the middle of a blizzard, taken my son fishing, and rescued me once when DH was out of town and another disgruntled employee showed up at our house. I'm not sure what I feel more of, hurt or disgust.

Edward's Mommy replied: It's amazing that you just can't trust people anymore. Half the time you have to be more afraid of a friend than an enemy. An enemy is predictable, a friend isn't. I'm glad you're okay. Did anything bad happen to any of your horses?

Brias3 replied: Oh my goodness! What a mess is right. I'm so sorry you guys are having to go through this! Its like, what do you even feel first- anger or disbelief? Very shocking- it's very sad to think of how day and night some people we consider those we know well can be.

I'm sure hoping that this lunatic gets caught soon. Smart thinking to cover all your bases and include the house. Hoping this finds resolution (and consequence for him!) soon! hug.gif hug.gif

ilovemybaby replied: Oh my blink.gif wacko.gif I hope he calms down and stops all this soon!

ashtonsmama replied: Monica that's ridiculous!
That guy needs anger management or the psych ward or something.
JEEZ.
wacko.gif
Hope he leaves you alone, you guys don't deserve this.

luvmykids replied:
Thankfully our trainer was there super early this morning (4 am) to load up for some races this weekend and we think it had only happened a short time before (based on where they were when he found them). If they'd had more time who knows where they could've gone off to, the place we keep them backs up to thousands of acres of BLM land. And 4 of them are pg and ready to foal any time so thank goodness none of them did while they were out.

It's actually kind of funny, in the way that it sort of backfired. The idiot could have done a lot more damage if he'd been smart enough to chase them through the gates toward the highway instead of just leaving them open. All he really did in the end was give them access to lots of fresh green pasture that you can't hardly get them out of anyway, much less them leave on their own! rolleyes.gif

But we don't trust him to not come back and try something else, like shooting one or something, maybe he's not that much of a lunatic but right now we're not chancing it so some other trainers are going to camp out in an RV over the weekend while our trainer is gone, just in case he comes back or the pg's foal.

Edward's Mommy replied: That's good! I would have died if something happened to one of my animals like that (if I had them). I'm so glad none of them were hurt!

CAMSMOM1 replied: Wow, that's so crazy, sad & scary all at the same time! He is obviously on some type of drug or alcohol. Maybe it's just that something snapped in his head, and made him go crazy. wacko.gif I know Jeff had the best of intentions, giving him a job. But this guy abused the trust & friendship.
I will be praying for protection for your family. And I hope this guy gets some help.

1lilpeanut2love replied: GEez the is definitely very crazy and scary. You give the man an inch and he takes a mile. What an idiot!! I am SO sorry for what you and DH had to go through. I hope things get better soon!! hug.gif hug.gif

luvmykids replied:
We know for a fact he's doing drugs again, just not sure what. The more I sit here and think about him having that girl call and tell me DH was having an affair, the madder I get. The car, horses, etc are bad enough but to screw with someones family is beyond shameful. I'm so mad that he got me involved, and I'm mad that I fell for it growl.gif

NEWMOM05 replied: Don't get mad at yourself for believing that girl it's hard not to even if deep down you know you trust your man. I am so sorry that that happened to you guys. Here you were being a good person and giving him a chance and he screws it up, then acts like that. I sure hope he gets over himself soon. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

jem0622 replied: I would press charges and have him arrested! Restraining orders are not enough for psychopaths like that!

hug.gif

luvmykids replied: We have filed police reports on all of it, it's a small town and he's no stranger to the police there. The DUI in our truck was his third, we're hoping something happens there (but probably won't) other than that we don't really have much more than "complaints" unless he pulls something else according to the cops.

But I agree, a restraining order isn't going to stop this guy really, if he wanted to pull something else he will. It's been quiet since it all happened so maybe he found a hole to bury himself in.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: hug.gif OMG I'm so sorry you have to go through something like this. You did the right thing reporting him to the police. I hope he never finds out where you live. hug.gif

redchief replied: Get him criminally and civilly I say. That really sucks! Amazing how addicts always manage to find someone else to blame for their problems. Sorry you've become that nut-job's target. I hope everything works out soon.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh boy! blink.gif Those ex employees can be such a PITA! I would say I'm shocked, but I have a friend who has experienced similar things from ex employees. wacko.gif

I just hope and pray it all stops here and you have no more trouble from these people. dry.gif

luvmykids replied:
The funny thing is when he got fired he said he understood, had seen it coming, and knew he'd been messing up ...guess that was before he picked up another crack pipe.
