I was SO proud of myself-I got up to walk out 3 times and ended up with an excellent deal Dh told me to do it if I was happy and he would sign whatever! He came home lastnight to see it and kept telling me how proud he is of me I will post pics later today~I am sorry to We have never had a BRAND-NEW vehicle I cried when i was driving home-it was so dang nice

OH and it is Victory RED with black fender wells and Tan interior. And when Bill came home to see it he was like a little boy-he had that GREAT smile that we all love to see and he said "You know I have ALWAYS wanted a 4x4 2500!" I love him he was going to let me get what I wanted! Now we are both happy!

MEL~I guess I am a Chevy girl now too! You and Randy and Bill converted me!

I'm a Chevy girl myself. We don't buy fords in this family...well DH did til he met me. We did have two fords though when we were dating and my entire family made fun of me every time they saw me. They call fords - found on road dead.......which is exactly what happened to my little ford truck I bought brand new and it blew up at 11,000.....we were stranded on the side of the highway and the thing was DEAD. Last ford we ever bought.

I have to say that I LOVE Fords..the look of them..and that was what I grew up with. If I could have an old fashion carbutor and a big block motor I would still be in a Ford. But since time has changed and life is not the same as it was in the 70's I have Chevy's now. My whole does except my Dad who has a Toyota. We are converted I guess..but still remember the day of the Ford's fondly!

I hope yours is as good as ours has been..but my van wouldn't start this morning! Lets hope it's nothing bad!

Kaitlin'smom replied: WOO HOO congrats. looks nice. We are also more of a chevy family, however we do have a little ford ranger, we paid cash for it as a truck for when we need it, seems we were always needing a truck so we bough one used so far so good with it.

Congrats, I remember my first brand New car oh what a feeling that was.

I'm only kidding! We are a Ford family...of course...it puts food on our table. BUT, Chevy is coming out with a new body on the Tahoe/Suburban and Scotty REALLY wants me to drive one of those. It has better fuel economy...it will be here in February. I can't wait to see it in person. I'm such a 'truck' person. I hate cars.

Aimee I am slow~ I did not know Scotty sold Fords! I really LOVE the way the 250s look but I was not as impressed as I thought I would be driving it-NOBODY was more shocked than me that I bought a Chevy But I LOVE it! I saw the Tahoe body style in their brochure yesterday and that is a nice looking vehicle too! I am a truck girl as well!

It's been awhile since I've driven a Chevy, but even Scotty admits they drive better than the new Ford.

I'm so happy for you. I love getting new vehicles. I hope I can trade my clunker off and get a new car soon.

My hubby has a 2005 4x4 Silverado and it's a monster, but it's nice to drive in. He also bought it brand new.
