Kaitlin'smom wrote: to me yesterday......well we got home and I went in to put my contacts in and brush my hair so her grandma could take her shopping, well I was putting in the last contact and Kaitlin came in our room and went and picked up the phone, now usually she like to talk to the vioice who tell her 'if you would like to make a call please hang up and dial' so I hear he say HI and pause the HI again well this time (while brushing my hair) I hear Hi back very muffled, (she had the phone ways from her ear), so I am thinking who is she talking to, so I jump up and she syas Hi and mommy, and gives me the phone, I say hello? and I hear "this is Huber Heights police department is there anything wrong there mam?" okay so now I am so embarrassed and I tell her no everthing is fine my almost 2 year old was plaing with the phone and I had no clue she could dial 911! so after talking to this 911 lady for a bit I hang up the phone and escort my daughter out of the room to tell her daddy what she did. I was soooo embarassed. I am just glad I get to the phone before she hung up.
5littleladies replied: Oh no!!!! Isn't that just too embarassing?!? Brianna just did that a couple of weeks ago. I have no idea how she did it but lucky for me we were at my parents house and not mine. Hee hee.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: OMG I've had that happen! When Spencer was 3 he dialed 911! Your lucky that they didn't send an officer to your house, when Spencer did that they had to send someone to check things out! I was so embarrassed!
amynicole21 replied: Ugh! I'm sure they get that ALL the time, though... Sophia likes to hit redial and hold long, extended conversations with my friends and relatives. Luckily, they usually know it's her (but they're also usually long distance! )
kimberley replied: oh no!! they fine people here for things like that. glad it turned out okay.
MommyToAshley replied: OMG! But, that is funny!
Glad you realized what she was doing and got on the phone.
My sister's girl called 911 at my Mom's house when she was two and hung up. The officer showed up at the house and made my Dad come outside and they went in to talk to my Mom to make sure everything was ok. It was so embarrassing for them.. but I think it was funny!
coasterqueen replied: OMG! How cute though.
Luckily we don't have a lan line and it's much harder for Kylie to figure out how to call 911 on our cell phones or we'd have the same problems.
Boys r us replied: OMG!!! LOL I think they ALL od that at some point! and if you hadn't gotten to the phone b/f she hung up...they would have called back before they dispatched someone to your house TRUST ME, I KNOW!!!
DansMom replied: Wow!!! The only thing Daniel's done is to give my computer "sticky keys" by pressing the shift button five times in a row.
A&A'smommy replied: haha thats halarious! I would have been embarressed too!!
Nicole replied: I think they all do that one time or another hahahaha
ediep replied: oh man, thats funny!! My freinds toddler did that too and the police showed up at her house pounding on the door.
MomToMany replied: Oh wow! Too funny! I'd be real embarrassed too! Luckily, none of my kids have done that YET.
Josie83 replied: I can just imagine! Little monkey . . . xx
gr33n3y3z replied: Oh that happend to me when Katie was 1 and thank God The call went into our police station because I know everyone there and not transfered to the next town.
bleblanc4 replied: Kirsten is right - at least you found out before and officer was dispatched. That is MUCH more embarrassing!!!
Kaitlin'smom replied: glad I am not alone, and yes it would have been so scary and very emabrassing to have them show up
