OMG..this is SOOO HORRIBLE...yet so funny - somewhat TMI

Boys r us wrote: About 3 weeks ago we got a new manager in my department, she's really nice..well a little too nice..almost fake. But anyways..more to the point..it's gotten to the point that NO ONE in our department will even go to her to ask questions and stuff b/c she STINKS and I do NOT mean like B.O. I mean..like the "funk down under"!! It's SOOOOO bad..it makes you want to barf. So we all bought Lysol spray to get rid of the smell after she would leave our desk(it is THAT bad)! I tend to be the "GO TO" person in our department b/c I'm the one who just doesn't care I'll say what's on my mind and never think twice about it! So anyhow..everyone was like tell our OTHER manager how bad it is! So I got up the nerve to tell our main boss that there was a problem and she started laughing and was like OMG I KNOW..IT'S HOOOORRRRRRRRRRRIBBBLLLLEEE! We we were laughing about and saying how we couldn't believe we were even having this talk. So she agreed that she would say something to her. and she did...so now this new boss has taken 4 days of PTO...I guess she's too embarrassed to face any of us..but come on..she's 35 yrs old..she has to know she needs to take showers and WASH everyday!
Anyhow, I don't really know WHY I'm telling ya'll this..It's just funny and all the buzz here at work..
I just can't imagine the words you would EVEN USE to tell someone that...much less having to be the one to do it!

MommyToAshley replied: OMG! How groosssss! I'm glad someone finally told her though.

However, thanks for sharing that story with me. I miss the gossip around the office, I don't get that since I work at home. It's no fun to gossip about myself or DH to my DH. LOL rolling_smile.gif

amynicole21 replied: OMG, that is soooo funny! We have a stinky guy at work, too! He's our legal council and VP, and whenever one of our big-time vendors came in to visit, they would have to meet him... and smell him! We all made our HR lady tell him rolling_smile.gif It was awful.

There is some website out there that allows you to send anonymous emails to people ... we considered going that route if the funk continued!

I feel badly for the lady, though. How horrifying would it be if your boss told you that you were stinky? ohmy.gif blush.gif

kimberley replied: ohmy.gif oh my! i don't think i could ever say something like that to someone i didn't know very well. poor lady. she must be so embarrassed.

kit_kats_mom replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif I was going to suggest that anonymos email site too. LOL

I had a boss that picked his zits and nose and...ate the resulting funk puke.gif

After many attempts at being nice, for example, I kept a large box of kleenex and whenever he would start picking I'd ask if he'd like a kleenex, I finally had to get his boss to tell him that he was grossing out the two ladies who shared the office with him. It took a whole year though. During that year, I'd rearranged the office so that my back was to him and when the president of the bank said I had to change the arrangement back, I bought a ridiculously huge (and ugly) fake plant and plopped it right in my range of vision.

It was awful.

Boys r us replied: Ewwww............I don't know which is worse Kit_Kats Mom..Bluckk...

Mom2Boyz replied: EWWWWWWWW puke.gif puke.gif puke.gif puke.gif
At least you didn't get the job of having to tell her thumb.gif
That must have been sooooooo embarrassing for her blush.gif !!!!!

coasterqueen replied: LOL! Gosh, I'd hate to be the one to tell someone they stink. rolling_smile.gif

Cary...one of DH's cousins does the same thing. I lived with him for six months while DH was down at college because I needed a roommate. He was sooo disgusting. He still does that stuff, it's gross. I never lived with someone as gross as him. I did his laundry once (his underwear). That was the last time I ever touched his clothes again. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

momof2girls replied:

What? OMG was there something wrong with him? uh I guess so that is crazy it is gross but I would have to laugh or barf right in front of him!

momof2girls replied: How could you not know you were that stinky? that is crazy! dry.gif

AshleyRose replied: geez I wish I could tell all (and there is MANY.. ESPECIALLY in the hot summer) the stinky french to go wash themselves! Being pregnant makes it worse... I hate being in large crowds (like getting into the movies or walking around a crowded store) because there is ALWAYS AT LEAST one that smells putrid! I thought the stinky french thing was just a stereotype... as in the winter I had only smelled a few stinkies. But it isnt a stereotype, let me tell you. Summer hit and they got real REAL stinky.

You would think in a place like Paris home of TONS of perfumes people wouldn't smell so bad wacko.gif !

kit_kats_mom replied:
blech! This guy was single & lived on his own. I think that he probably did it at home all the time and honestly wasn't aware of what he was doing in the office. I think it was just a bad habit. He also kept an old hand towel in his drawer that he would use to wipe the sweat off in the summer. He used the same towel for 2 years in a row without washing it. Comon Dude!

Some people just have no idea how totally gross they are being.
