OMG, he doesn't do well without sleep!
Danalana wrote: Yesterday was just weird...he ate more than usual, and would NOT stay asleep. He was soooo sleepy, and he would drift off for just a second and then be awake again. Finally, he just dissolved into tears...and then hysterics. I couldn't do anything and rocking him just made him angrier. I swear I thought I was going to have to throw myself into the yard So far today, he has had his first bottle and taken a little 10-minute nap in his swing...I'm praying sleep goes better today If not, I can be found out in my yard
luvmykids replied: Oy, I hated those times when they were so overtired...I hope he catches up today . Otherwise, enjoy your yard
sparkys2boys replied: Oh I hated those days also. And there is nothing you can do to settle them and EVERYTHING like you said makes it worse. Ummm, so is it a nice day to be in the yard??
Hope he has a better day Dana
lovemy2 replied: Oh those were the worst days and they ALWAYS came right after you had decided that things were FINALLY starting to fall into place
Hang in there kiddo - it gets better - in about 18 years
Danalana replied: LOL, thanks! And today is SO not a good day for the yard. It's a little rainy but it IS unseasonably cool...I like that part.
sparkys2boys replied: LOL.. well then for your sake I hope he sleeps
Teesa®© replied: Maybe he ate too much and his little tummy hurts? Poor little guy
A&A'smommy replied: awww poor thing (and momma) I hope today goes MUCH better!!
Danalana replied: He's sleeping!
Teesa®© replied: Let's hope it lasts for at least a few hours!!
PrairieMom replied: Ugh. Those days are the worst. It doesn't get any easier when there are two of them.
msoulz replied: LOL, when I read the title of the post I thought you were talking about DH!! They don't do well either . . .
Glad the little man is snoozing for you!!!!!!!!!!!
Danalana replied: Gah, he thinks the world is ending if he doesn't get his full 8 or 9 hours
bawoodsmall replied: I am glad he is sleeping. Hopefully it stays that way. Grumpiness is bad.
DillsMommy replied: sounds alot like myself. Me-Sleep=one very unpleasant person to be around.
MoonMama replied: Awww poor little guy. I hope today went better and you both got some rest.
HuskerMom replied: I'm the same way.
my2monkeyboys replied: Me, too! And so is Will for that matter. If he gets low on sleep you can expect an attitude to rival that of a 15-yr-olds! Just rude, bizarre, and yet hyper all at the same time. I was going to suggest that if he gets really crabby again and it's not actually raining, I'd bundle him up and take him for a stroll. Sometimes just a change in scenery helps a lot.
Oh, and welcome to the real motherhood!
Danalana replied: He was good the rest of the day, even though he didn't nap well. He is napping now, which is SO nice...I even got to go back to sleep for about an hour! I'm having lunch with a friend who's coming from out of town today, so I'm glad he's getting his rest
