OMG!! So excited...guess what I'm getting??

For those of you who don't know, DH is a GM for a car dealership. He has some people that do his installs and I'm sure he is getting a discounted rate (which makes it that much better!!) The kids are going to be thrilled!!

We have one that attaches to each headrest and until it broke a couple weeks ago (Andy broke it) they LOVED it and it kept the peace in the backseat!

We do the same thing. But I told him yesterday that since we got such a good deal on my car and it's such a good car (low mileage, perfect size, great condition) that we might as well pay it off and keep it. The only thing I wanted was a DVD player.

Oh no! I have a Lincoln Navigator now. It's so much more my style. I love SUV's and this one drives so well. I was just driving that other car b/c we still owed on it...it was Scotty's old car.

Actually, my XM is not installed, either But, I just said something to Scotty and he said Sirius is better, I think I'll switch it on Weds. I said "Hey, that's what Abbie has." So, I might actually get that installed, too.

Sometimes I forget mine are even back there they get so quiet!! LOL Tell him to get ya some wireless headphones for the kids...SO WORTH IT!!

Boys r us replied: Oh and Aimee..Sirius IS better! That's what we have. We did a lot of research a year or so ago to decide between the two and went with the Sirius. Also, if he's into football, Sirius has the football package(obviously important enough to be the deciding factor for Rick... )

lisar replied: Way to go. My DH says I cant have one because the kids will always be wanting me to change the movie or something. He says I will get into a wreck. As if I am stupid enough to try and reach back there to change a movie while I am driving down the road. I would pull over first.... But I will get one eventually.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I told Scotty last night that there was NO way they could put that DVD player in b/c my rear air controls are right smack in the middle where it would go. I called him today to see what he figured out and he said they had to put them in the headrests. DARN!!! That's what I wanted anyway.

Our rear air controls are built into the top of our dvd player system. Maybe they can only be done like that when they are factory built and come with the vehicle?

We originally thought they would still be able to install it b/c they have a platform they use to build it up, but it still wouldn't work. I'm sure it's different when they are factory installed. It could be that my rear air controls are different, too. I'm really not sure. I didn't argue.

Naomi, I won't get my car back until tomorrow night.
