OMG---Pampers just sent me.... - in response to a complaint
Emmy'sMom wrote: An envelope full of coupon/certificates for FREE packs of diapers!!! PLUS --- a Freakin' check for $60.00 made out to me! An actual check!!! They said they hoped I would still use thier diapers but if I couldn't use them them to pass on the coupons and use the money to buy another brand!
I e-mailed Pampers a few weeks ago to complain about the fact that out of a pack of diapers I can't use about 8 of them because a tab tears off...usually when I am just about to get it on Emmy!
I kept them for a few months but eventually threw them away --because it made me sick to look at them and see the waste. It was like looking at money sitting right there in her room and I couldn't spend it
Anyway - I finally got around to e-mailing them, telling them I loved thier diapers but I really hated that I had to throw so many away. and I was was thinking about trying out a different brand. Sadly.
So, I get this e-mail back saying "blah blah..sorry this happened, thanks for your input....not alot we can do for you through e-mail- please look for correspondence in the mail in 7-10 days" I really didn't think they would send anything.
OMG! I never complain about anything!! EVER ----- WOW! I am so shocked!
Anyway --just wanted to share

MommyToAshley replied: WOW!
WTG PAMPERS! They have just gained my respect.
lsjulee replied: Wow!! This is really what I call "after sales service".
CantWait replied: WOW WTG, it pays to complain sometimes I guess, literally
ediep replied: thats great!! I actually have had that happen more than once with huggies diapers too. I never complained though, but now maybe I will!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Wow that's awesome! I'm so glad to hear that they took your complaint seriously.
amynicole21 replied: Wow! That's some good customer service
coasterqueen replied: That's awesome!!!
coasterqueen replied: Hey Dee Dee, pampers have the elmo character too. Maybe you can call and complain that you'd use their diapers but Ashley will only wear Elmo ones and ask if they can accomodate you? They just might do it .
jem0622 replied: That is wonderful! Great customer service! I should contact them myself b/c DH bought a box of Cruisers from Sam's and I was so perturbed that one of the diapers was missing a tab. I started to wonder if they do that on purpose to many unknowing consumers and figure they'll just eat to cost of the loss?
Way to go on speaking up for you and getting a decent apology!
Kaitlin'smom replied: thats great, never thought about complaing, I uses pampers and have had that problem on occasion...love them they are the only ones that dont leak, on Kailtin. I am glad they took care of you.
momof2girls replied: That is great customer service!
TLCDad replied: Great to see a company that definitely sees the value of word of mouth and also great customer service. Maybe it cost them $100+ dollars to honor your complaint but look at all the nice compliments the company is getting by word of mouth just on this board for example. That is what I call good customer service and great business plan.
They honored you as a loyal customer whic is great and very respectful and now they probably even gain customers from doing it. What is sad is I see companies that do not do this.
A&A'smommy replied: WOW thats awesome I truly respect them now! I love pampers also I use cruisers they are awesome!
3_call_me_mama replied: We had the same issue with pampers, there was a pack we bought and half were missing tabs and the other half had the tabs basically fall off as we were putting them on.. they were great about replacing them with free coupons adn a check:) That's why we are still using them,,,,, because of the awsome service we got!
KatieLeigh79 replied: At least I know I'm not alone with that problem! We bought the big 100+ "cases" at Sams over the past 2 months and the first case we lost 26 diapers because the tabs tore off when we tried to put him in them and 16 from the second.. if I run into that again I will most certainly be complaining, in fact we have switched to Huggies this month just to see if it doesn't help somewhat but find he has gotten good at pulling his parts out of the diaper, he's growing up way to fast if he's only 13 months and already playing with himself but I just couldn't see wasting that much money on Pampers again to be met with that same problem again!
momof2girls replied: After seeing your post I emailed pampers too, since I have had the same problem today I got 2 coupone for 5.00 off each. just wanted to share!
Emmy'sMom replied:
