What kind of sick thing is this to do to a child.. omg I am still shocked
stella6979 replied: It certainly makes me cringe, but they've been doing that for a LONG time and believe it or not, there's never been any deaths or injuries.
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: WTF kind of sick practice is THAT?
mummy2girls replied: ok im going to go throw up now.. that is disgusting. yes there may be no deaths or injuries yet but what will they do or think if that one child flies off the landing...GEEZ!
stella6979 replied: I'm not saying I approve of it, but it is a culture thing. I'm sure there are things we do that others may find disturbing as well.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Omg! Those poor babies - how terrifying for them!
Crystalina replied: Dang it! I can't get it to open up. Is that where they are tossing babies off a building in India?? I saw that this morning on 'Morning Joe'. I just couldn't believe it. Throw one down, pick it up, toss it back and wait for the next one.
sparkys2boys replied: Yup, that is it.. very very sick. Culture thing or not, it's sick IMO that is.
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: No injuries or deaths that they know about! Yeah, whatever! That HAS to put a LOT of stress on the baby's spine, neck, and skull; their little brain must be knocking back & forth!
They could find injuries later or brain damage and blame it on something else so this crazy tradition continues.
My2Beauties replied: Mollie I agree with you 100%, what if that baby had a heart condition they weren't aware of, certainly that has to make their heart race....OMG my mouth stayed wide open the whole entire time, horrible horrible thing IMHO!
mckayleesmom replied: Oh my...how scary. Talk about some shakin baby syndrome
Im really suprised that most of those babies didn't act upset...The only one that looked upset was the first one.
stella6979 replied: Like I said, I don't approve or agree with it, but all kinds of cultures do strange things that others find bizarre. This just happens to be one of those things.
HuskerMom replied: How scary!
What is the reason for doing that?
A&A'smommy replied: WOW that is incredibly nuts!!!!
gr33n3y3z replied: Look where they are from should I say more?
Jamison'smama replied: India? I'm not following.
I agree that it is a terrible tradition.
