mckayleesmom wrote: I was in the kitchen and Mckaylee came and got me and said that Russell was writing on the wall with a marker....I ran out there and it wasn't my wall....It was my couch cushions....with a permanent marker....He got the bottoms and sides of them, but one cushion he got the top....OMG....Im so angry right now....he is in his room and Im not sure Im ever going to let him out....I don't have a clue where he got a permanent marker from.....

Does anyone know if you can replace a cushion? Or something that takes permanent marker out? I used dish soap and it faded a bit...but its still there.

Im so upset.

grandma replied: Oh no, not your brand new sofa. I'm sure they can replace the cushion, call the store.

A&A'smommy replied: Hairspray and then regular upholstery cleaner

What kind of marker is it? Hopefully it's not a sharpie, those are the hardest to get out. But, it would help to know what kind of marker.

Jackie012007 replied: hairspray!! Just make sure it has alcohol in it - spray it at close range, onto the mark and then blot (don't wipe!!) the area continuously. You are going to have to spend some time but eventually it will lighten more and more and eventually be gone. The best brand I've found to get out marker is Suave!! Just keep blotting firmly and reapplying the hairspray - you will watch it get lighter and lighter!!

bawoodsmall replied: wink.gif I am so not looking forward to Aiden doing that. I hope you find something to get it out. Dont kill him...hes too cute.

mckayleesmom replied:
really?....I will get one when dh gets home

danahas4monkeys replied: I am not sure if you have a dollar store near you but they sell this stuff in a spray bottle the liquid is yellow and the stuff is called Awesome and it really and truly is my son used a sharpie marker to draw smiley faces in my brand new tan carpet and we used that stuff and scrubbed the daylights out of it and it worked! Hope you get it cleaned up! hug.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: hug.gif They always find that kind of stuff, don't they? I've banned permanent markers from my house because no matter where I put it, they find it. rolleyes.gif

Calimama replied: I hope it comes out!!
