OMG....I am so STUPID

mckayleesmom wrote: Ok..yesterday I was suppose to make the Ham and 15 bean soup, but with running around and Russells doctors appointment...I forgot to start it. So we had pizza. Today I was so proud of myself because it was in the crockpot and ready to go....I just went in there and stirred it wondering why it still looked the same as when I put it in...Thats when I realize that its not plugged in... growl.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif banghead.gif . Why does this stuff keep happening to me?? Now its after 3pm and I can only hope that its done by dinner time or I will have to feed the kids something else and we will eat late.

EvesMom replied: Awe, don't feel stupid. It happens to the best of us. hug.gif I've done things like that many times.

Insanemomof3 replied: OMG I do things like that ALL the time. LOL Hope it is done in time! hug.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
Well, I did cook the beans first...so lets hope and pray.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: That's a classic Aimee mistake. blush.gif

I bet it will be done since you cooked the beans first. wink.gif

MyLuvBugs replied: DOH! I hate when that stuff happens. dry.gif I tried to Vaccum a couple weeks ago and finally realized why it wouldn't turn on....not plugged in. rolleyes.gif It happens to all of us. laugh.gif Give the kids a snack later and hopefully, they can eat a little late too. hug.gif

kayla's mama replied: That happens more times than I would like to admit. Jason calls those the Jessica moments ( we watched the Newlyweds on MTV cool.gif rolleyes.gif )

Well, hope dinner is done in time tongue.gif

Crystalina replied: That happend to me with my treadmill. I put the little key in, plugged it in and it wouldn't work. I was so darn frusterated. I called my DH and told him what was going on and he said he would look at it when he got home (2 days later). Meanwhile I kept going back and forth trying to figure it out. I even moved it across the room (that was work) to another outlet thinking maybe for SOME reason the original outlet couldn't handle the power ( wacko.gif duh, I'd always used it on that outlet.). DH finally comes home and fiddles with it for about 30 seconds and leans down and flips a switch towards the bottom. And wouldn't you know...it worked. ohmy.gif He said "It would help if you switched the button to ON."
I'm sure he thinks I'm an idiot. wub.gif

In my defense though, when I first bought it he turned it to the on position and I never turned it off. THE KIDS MUST HAVE DONE IT! wink.gif

Crystalina replied: P.S.
After the whole episode I was too tired to use it. tongue.gif

AshleyRose replied: I almost did that one day but caught myself before it got too late laugh.gif .

Kated replied: I have done things like that all the time! I put stuff in the oven and get upset cause its not getting hot and realize I never turned it on. tongue.gif

CantWait replied: DUH!!!!!!!!, hope dinner is ready in time to eat. hug.gif

holley79 replied: Sounds like something I would do. I got all the way out to the Sheriff's Office to turn in my return to work paperwork and it was still on my dining room table. growl.gif

PhiMuMommy replied: i have done that way too many times to count. once i even stuck the food in the fridge instead of the stove...... i went to get it out and had to search for it... i guess i was distracted..lol.
