OMG, I AM LIVID!! - At MIL!

I'm going through all of her tapes, and I find one of ours we must have forgotten to take out. It had Kayla's 1st Birthday & Hannah's 3rd Birthday parties on it. She taped over Kayla's Birthday !! All that's left is 1 minute of her eating her cake. All the video of her opening her presents is GONE. She taped one of her other grandkids (step-grand-kid actually).

She told us she accidentally taped over a little bit of it, but it was 20 minutes worth !!


She's going to get a piece of my mind the next time I see her !

Insanemomof3 replied: I would be so angry. I had something like that happen too. My first hubby, who has custody of my daughter taped over her birth video!!! A dumb football game. When I asked him why he did that he just said it was because I was in it and he didn't need the memory.

Mommy2BAK replied: That stinks, but since it was left in there she must have assumed it was blank. I am sure she didn't mean any harm by it. And atleast you still have a minute of it left . I wouldn't lend it to her again if I were you.

MomToMany replied: Thanks for the sympathy. I know it was partly our fault for leaving the tape in there in the first place. But still, she should've looked to see what was on the tape.....

DH really gave it to her yesterday. I guess he was really fed up with her crap lately, and when I told him about the tape, it just was the icing on the cake. I guess she hung up on him when he called her about recording over Kayla's birthday. Then he took all of her DVD's I had made & her vacation tapes & brought them to her. He told her to find someone else to do it.

I don't think we will be talking to her for awhile . But I'm proud of DH for what he did.
