ammommy replied: We've got one in my neighborhood, too. I called the police to see if I could find out what the offense was and they reminded me that sexual offender is not necessarily child molester. It turns out that in our case the guy was 21, girlfriend was 16, parents pressed charges.
It's always good to be aware, though.

yup marie we have one 4 doors down and another 2 streets behind us....one was a child molester and the other was a regular sexual assult offender....

My3LilMonkeys replied: Well I live in PA which is one of 3 states that don't provide addresses for sex offenders. That almost worries me more than knowing where they are.

huggybugboy replied: I stopped looking at them after I read the 8th ones profile (all within 0.19 miles of me.) This is the area where they all live. I heard that a long time ago. I forget why they are so localized around here. It makes me so sad for this area that I live in. They wonder why people are always moving away.

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: There's a registry where I live. You can go online and look them up in my area. It gives you everything you need to know about them. Where they work, live, what kind of car they drive, ect...................... It's great, and when someone registers they always mail you a notice that says theres a sex offender in the area. I think every state should do this. It's stupid not too.
