OMG ... CUTEST THING EVER!
MommyToAshley wrote: I just have to share this story with you....
Rod and I have been working all morning. Ashley said she was in the living room practicing for the Circus. She came to get tape (I did let her have some) and left. She went downstairs and got her bowling pens and came back up. She used her scissors in the office (where I could see her) and then left. Then, it was time....we were called into the living room for the Circus.
Ashley had a beach towel hanging from the couch and the papers she cut out scattered around for the decorations. She had some Little People animals in a circle. Then, I soon realized what the tape was for... she had a mermaid barbie hanging by tape from the handle of her Easter basket (the lady on the flying trapeze). She started out by saying, "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the greatest show on earth!"
She did some tricks with her bowling pins, then asked for a volunteer from the audience. I stood up, but she told me to sit down because I had to raise my hand. I raised my hand and then she called on me. She had her hula-hoop in her hand and told me that she would hold the hoop and I should try to crawl through it... LOL!
She finished with a magic trick and a bow. It was the cutest thing ever!!!!!

You guys are very lucky that she is so adorable and that you both get to witness it all the time.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awww that's so cute! She has quite the imagination!
MommyToAshley replied: This is true.. it's times like these that make us realize how lucky we are that we get to be home with her. I usually try not to work during the time we have when she is home, but that is hard when you have so much work to do. I was getting frustrated (but tried not to show it) that she kept interrupting me to get her tape, open the gate to downstairs, watch her with scissors, etc when I had so much work to do. Then, she puts on a cute circus like that and it puts it alll into perspective... the client can wait another hour or so.

Btw, Lucas was sitting next to me yesterday while I was reading posts from here. He saw Ashley's pic in your siggy where Thing 1 and Thing 2 are pulling her hair. He did the deepest belly laugh and pointed at the screen and said, "Look! Those monkeys are pulling that girl's hair!!! That's so silly!!!"
