OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

mummy2girls wrote: Jenna fell down the stairs today. I was at work and the little girl had managed to free the gate from the top of the stiars by shaking it! I had no idea. I went into the living room just as jenna went tumbling. I dove for her and missed her by an inch. She fell down 5 steps of carpeted stairs and landed on her back. She cried so hard!!!!! I felt so horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DansMom replied: Oh, that's so scary!!! I think it happens at least once to every parent---so glad the stairs were carpeted, that helps a little bit. I'm glad she's okay now.

jem0622 replied: Lots of hugs for Jenna and Mommy. I cannot tell you how many times my 3 yr old has fallen down the stairs. Never fell down as an infant or toddler...but he is such a klutz now!

I would prefer to install the more sturdy gates that take brute strength to open b/c Gabe (14 mos) is a strong little bugger!
