OK..do any of you guys

Like if Hanna does something cute, I start thinking I can't wait to tell everyone at Parenting Club, then if Brian ticks me off, I think geez, I can't wait to post this vent on the forum!!! Last night I was putting Hanna to bed and she was fussy (she has a runny nose anyways) and I was thinking I wonder what Dee Dee, Karen, Aimee, Nichole, etc...do when their kids are fussy before bedtime? I just find it so funny that everything that happens to me good or bad, I think about you guys and have never even seen a one of you in person!!! Just thought I would share that

jcc64 replied: Me too. I learn alot here, about all kinds of things, but of course the thing I love the most is sharing with a whole group of lovely supportive caring friends I've never met before!

DansMom replied: I have middle-of-the-night insights, things I want to tell people, stories I want to share. I am always telling DH stories about the other toddlers, how smart Ashley is, how Katherine or Kylie or Sophia or Jenna did/said something so funny, stuff like that. It's funny, but I'm starting to feel proud of all the kids on our site, their milestones and accomplishments, like they are part of my family. And I really like getting to know moms and dads from different walks of life, people I would never meet otherwise.

DH loves it, too! He just doesn't have the time to post.

kimberley replied: yup! guilty!! everytime the kids do something of importance, i am chomping at the bit to tell all of you. and sometimes i am doing other stuff and stop and wonder how so-and-so is doing or if so-and-so had the baby yet

Last night, I asked DH to clean the dishes so I could post about K's tomato soup and I am always starting off conversations with "well, the ladies on the board" or "oh, Ashley's mom...she's on my board" etc.

My friends and family probably all think I'm totally off of my rocker.

It's so great when I can point out that "Jade, Kiera and Sophia aren't sleeping through the night either". It really does make me and DH feel better to know that our kid isn't some total wierdo. Not counting ole' genius butt Ashley, she's falling right into stride with all the other kids.

This is the first place I come after getting up in the morning (well, after getting my hugs and kisses from Ashley). I come here before I even read my email for work. I come here to check on updates on how everyone is doing, if the people trying to conceive are PG yet, who has a birthday, and I look for pictures of our cuties. I don't always have time to post until afternoon, but I like to check on everyone first thing in the morning.

And, whenever something happens, I can't wait to come here. DH is used to it though, he will say something like "You're going to post that on the board, aren't you?" heehee.

I am like you Cary, I find a little comfort in knowing that there are different kids that do or say the same things as Ashley. I think, well if the kids of these great Moms are doing the same thing then I must be doing an ok job.
