Now he has a Fever - 104
lovemy2 wrote: So poor Dylan just can't win - he has been sick since LAST Friday - going on 9 days now - first the throwing up, then the diarreha, then the whole blister on his peepie thing, then back to the throwing up and diarreha and now he is doing none of those things, not stuffy, nothing but has a 104 fever - it does come down with the motrin/tylenol routine but the poor kid......I gotta say - Olivia having been in daycare from the time she was 16 weeks (well my girlfriend watched her but she had preschool/school aged kids who brought all the gunk home) was pretty much healthier than a horse by 1 year old - Old Man Dylan who never leaves the house has been sick every other week.........
luvmykids replied: Oh the poor little guy That kind of thing has been going around here too, fever but no other symptoms. I think it's viral b/c Macie is on antibiotics from her abcessed tooth and still spiked the fever
I hope he feels better very soon, how are you holding up? How is his blister?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm so sorry. I hope he feels better soon, hun.
It's so hard seeing our babies sick.
lovemy2 replied: His blister is gone - by Monday am it was much much better - the neosporin definately helped - I am hanging in there but certainly can't take much more time from work - I basically missed all of last week - thank goodness my Mom is home from FL now - I just feel so bad for him - my usual happy go lucky little Mack Truck is acting like he needs a new transmission

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Ahhh I feel for you! It's hard to see our little ones sick, but it's also hard on us moms (and dads) who have to care for them, especially when they get sick over and over again. I know how exhausting it can be. And it must be hard to take off of work. Hang in there, k. Hope the little guy is better in no time!
BAC'sMom replied: I hope he is feeling better
lovemy2 replied: Still a fever running about 102 - fine with the motrin but about 5 - 5 1/2 hours after the dose its right back up - calling the Ped AGAIN - not that I am cheap but another co-pay for them to tell me its a virus is annoying......have you ever had that feeling though that something else is going on but you just can't put your finger on it??? I hate this feeling....
kit_kats_mom replied: Check his throat. K had a high fever once and it turned out to be coxsackie virus. Nothing that can be done but at least you will know. It shows up as 3 little bumps on the back of the throat. For some reason, kids don't really show when their throats are sore.
lovemy2 replied: I have thought of that - that and strep - not sure where any of it could come from he has been nowhere in the past 10 days since he has been sick.....he still isn't eating too great either - but is drinking good so far thank goodness...
3xsthefun replied: Poor little guy! Hope he is feeling better soon!
lisar replied: Tell the Dr that. I would. Let them know exactly what you think. They will figure it out. I hope he feels better soon.
