Now I need the fashion police - pics and a question

moped wrote: I am going to a "casual" wedding soon - I have 2 outfits, the pants I love but don't really have the right shoes.......so here is the first outift and a few pics, do the cork wedges look silly or is the whole thing bad?

moped replied: another view

moped replied: Last view of this one....

I just like the wide wide bottom of these.....

This pic has some flip flops with white flower on them......

moped replied: And here is the other option -- any thoughts??

kimberley replied: i like option 2 better. you look great! thumb.gif

lovemy2 replied: WOW Hot Momma - you look fabulous - both are nice but #2 is more of a wozer thumb.gif thumb.gif

stella6979 replied: I like the first one better and I actually think the shoes go well with it.

sparkys2boys replied: I like them both Jen! You will look great in what ever one you decide to go with.

moped replied:
I like the first one too....i like both but the first one seems more casual

MommyToAshley replied: I like them both. I like the first one the best, but the second one seems to fit the occasion better. What kind of wedding is it? Where's it at? What time of day?

moped replied:
It is a casual dress family wedding at my Grams farm......I am not sure the time of day but afternoon outdoors I think, so depending on the weather that day I guess.

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I like both, but I like the first one better with the flip flops.

mckayleesmom replied:
I like the first outfit with the flip flops better also.

stella6979 replied:
Well I do like them both, I'm just really liking the shirt in the first one. I love white, and the style is really cute. And the pants look "dressy" but sooooo comfy.

moped replied: Ok don't laugh but those flip flops cost a small fortune and I am afraid they would get ruined at an outside (tent?) wedding......LOL

I would rather ruin the wedges...... tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: I LOVE LOVE the second one but they are both cute minus the flip flops

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: The first outfit is really pretty and classic, which is great for a casual wedding, but I would pair it with some sleek pumps. The cork wedges don't work IMO because the pants are boxy and wide, the shoes should be sleek and pointy. And what about a neutral color pump, or even a little gold, and throw in some large gold hoops and chain necklace. You have a great figure Jen, but #2 halter seems a bit too "girls night out" IMO, not wedding.

Have fun!

My3LilMonkeys replied: I like the 1st one...it could just be the angle but the 2nd one seems too loose and flowy around the middle - it doesn't do justice to your figure.

moped replied: Rae, I actually did buy that halter in Palm Springs hoping for a night out, but the night hasn't come yet - LOL........I bought it with green shorts, that don't really fit anymore sad.gif

MoonMama replied: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE #2! But I think #1 is better for the event. thumb.gif

Boys r us replied: I know I'm late weighing in but I like #1 and I like the white flower flip flops with it the best!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Jen, just wondering...Are the first pants made of tweed? I'm wondering if it's the length and weight of the fabric that's throwing you off some. I have seen pants like that worn with boots before, in the fall. The black pair seem to work better with heels IMO because of where it hits more at your knee. Showing more leg. Sorry to get so technical, but I really think high boots would look hot with #1. Tweed and leather boots look best. Maybe try the white top with the black pants and wedges????! That could work. wink.gif

moped replied:
Yes they are fall pants and my intention is to wear them with my tall leather boots, so you are right again!!!! They are tweed. I will try something else and see...I have so many clothes it would blow your mind. It is the casual wedding thing that is throwing me off a bit. And, lots of people haven't seen me ina long time, so yes I want to look decent because I have lost lots of weight..........women eh!!!!!

I have another shirt i got at Express that is sort of asual that would go with the black wide capris in the other pics - I will post a pic of those later for you guys.

My sister said she would be changing into jeans for the later part of the evening - so that is easy! tongue.gif

lisar replied: I think both of them are good, so which ever you choose will look great.

HuskerMom replied: I like the 2nd one best, but they both look great.

jem0622 replied: #2 for sure. Meow Momma! You go, girl!

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang! You look awesome!

I love them both - honestly.
number one has a more preppy, conservative look -- but still a little sexy.
number two seems a tad more feminine and dressy.

Either way you go,, you'll look awesome.

jcc64 replied: #2 is more festive. I vote for that one. The first one is nice, but missing something....

Calimama replied: I like the first one but it needs some accessories!

sparkys2boys replied: So Jen, have you decided which one you are going with yet??

moped replied:
Oh yes I have earrings and stuff...........and a wicked cool purse

moped replied:
Ha, no but I am going to try on a couple different things and see what you guys think of those - maybe tonight! I also have a longer 3/4 sleeve shirt with a love back that I bought to go with the pants in #1.....soooooo no further ahead!!! tongue.gif
