Nicknames?

What are your kids nicknames? Emily has 2, Em or Katie. Her middle name is Kate and ever since she was born one of my friends has called her Katie. I started calling her Katie too. It must be so confusing for people who come visit us. One second I'll call her Emily, next she'll be Em, then her name just completly changes to Katie.

And now Odessa is Des, although I have called her Essa once or twice.

DH calls me Ninja, lol. To him Nina-Jane = Ninja

Halo42101 replied: I don't have kids yet but I have a few nicknames myself. My mom started calling me, "Baby Roo," after I was born. She loves Winnie-The-Pooh and had it as my baby theme. She got the nickname, Baby Roo or just Roo, from Baby Roo on Winnie-The-Pooh. When my husband heard that, he started calling me Baby Roo too. Then, he got Ruby from Roo. (LOL) From that he got, Ruby Roo. Theron also calls me, "Rooski," as an extention. Those are my nicknames.

DS#1 is Tyler we call him Ty or Ler I dont really dont know where Ler came from but I thinkg I am the one who calls him that the most.

DS#2 is Carter he has many nicknames. Emily said his name frist and she calls him Cartie I call him Cart I also call him Marty I dont know where that one came from but I love it! We also call him Marty Farty he is always full of gas!!

DD is Emily for most of us we call her Em sometimes Emmy.

My nickname is JennSue it came from my little sister she use to call me sissy Sue b/c she couldn't say my name then it just went to JennSue. 21 years larter and people still call me that some days it's on some day it's not

C&K*s Mommie replied: Christian: "Chris..t" (pronounced like Chris with a "t" on the end, but it is not pronounced the way it is spelled) or "big baby girl" "Christian head" used in a song I sing, she used to be called "chub-chub-fat face" when she was a baby. On occassion we call her "little momma". And soometimes "pis*pot" for when she is being ugly.

Kellie: "Kel" , "little momma" (also) "little baby girl" "pi*spot" (for ugliness), "little monkey" because she climbs & can balance on EVERYTHING (we really need to put her in gymnastics because of this)

Brias3 replied: Ryan is usually Ry, or when he was little Ry-ry. Aliyah's Li-Li, Allie (to daddy), and Lilo (to Mason). Mason is usually Mase or Mason-Bear (something Ryan started and now everyone does it.

Of course, we have the usual "pet" names for them too.

I call Brooke my big girl or sweetie most of the time. Madison I call my googly bear or baby girl.

I always call DH baby, hunny, or sweety. My Nana used to call him Fred. When we were living with her, he would call for me and she would ask is this Greg and he started saying no its Fred.

When we were little my brother Curtis had a ton of nick names!! We called him Boy, Curty, our little cousin called him Curtis Marie Howard,Clem (when he was being a brat because my dad knew a real annoying guy named Clem)...the list goes on!

I'm ashamed to say what my nickname is. My dad used to call me it all the time when I was little. I hated when he would call me that name so I'm not even going say.

Sometimes, my dad will call me Marie, DH has even picked that up calling me Marie sometimes. It is my middle name.

When I was in 6th grade somehow I managed to pick up the name Boo Boo. And in highschool when I was in 10th grade I had a teacher call me Tina Marina.

DH when he was younger people called him Robbie, some people still call him Robbie.

J & I dont really have nicknames for each other....except for "baby".
