And having formerly worked for a major competitor of Bella Baby I have to say - HOLY WOW! Their in-hospital photos are absolutely awesome compared to the ones we took!

Yep. They are an in-hospital photographer that the hospital contracts with to visit all the new moms and offer the photography session free of charge. They are relatively new to the industry but when I was working for their competitor we lost a lot of clients to them - and I can definitely see why. Those photos are amazing compared to what we did.
moped replied: WOW that is cool. Is it high pressure sales, cause I amt hinking if I didn't want it they would push a bit?
Either way, they are fabulous pics!

I can't really say for their company, but with ours the photographers made an hourly wage plus commission and the company really emphasized high volume orders....they were well trained in not only making the sale but major upselling so it was a bit of a high pressure approach.

My2Beauties replied: Oh Wow, those pics are so gorgeous, a far cry from what we get here. I nearly cried looking at all of them (I'm so emotional today). I can't believe how many times she "smiled" in them, precious! She is gorgeous! Congratulations What an angel!
grapfruit replied: Hi guys. We're home. TIRED for sure! I'm already paranoid, her eye is a little goopy. But we have to go to the Ped tomorrow to get her billiruben level checked again. I'll post my birth story here in a bit. Ordering Pizza online  (yeah I get to eat normal stuff now)
Oh and the Bella Baby photographer was totally NOT high pressured at all. She explained the prices and the brochure left me her laptop and came back like 10 mins later to see if I wanted anything. We DID end up getting the CD (which comes w/a photo release) b/c they turned out awesome. I had the CD in hand, nicely packaged w/in another 30 mins. She was AWESOME. And to top it off, she's using one of the photos in a contest! (the one w/the bracelet in the foreground and Bella's face in the background).
