New Baby - My little man is finally here

beautifullychaotic wrote: Hey all just thought I would stop in to imform you that David Lee made his way into the world at 9:16 am on Sunday September 19th 2004. He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces, he was 18 & 3/4 inches long.
I was in labour for 23 hours give or take a few minutes. Once heavy labour started in went fast so I didn't get my epidural. So the last 2 hours of my labour were grueling. The nurse was slightly irritated with me because it hurt so bad I was crying. At one point I told here to get the f** away from me before I showed her why I was screaming . But in the end it was all worth it I couldn't believe I did it both me and his daddy were crying it was just beautiful and he is perfect

Im sorry about the nurse. Some nurses can be very ignorant. One night nurse i has while in the hospital with jenna was giving me attitude and got mad that i was crying because i was worried about jenna not eating. And still gave me attitude when i told her the reason i was upset is because i lost my son to a sickness where he could not eat! Some nurses are there just for the money and not for the care of patients...UGH!

I don't understand a nurse being irritated with normal labor pain---has she never helped deliver a baby naturally? Maybe she should work in a field other than OB/GYN! I think the moms delivering in the rooms on either side of me probably hated me---I'm sure I was the only shouter on the ward that night and that everyone else was medicated. Once you leave the hospital you never see any of those people again

Poo poo on that nurse, you'll never have to see her again! Can't wait to see pics. Hanna was 7 lbs 13 oz and 18 3/4 inches long, they were awfully close!!! I just thought that was neat!
