Needing some reassurance - definitely TMI

When I was done I wiped and there was blood on the toilet paper and it wasn't from the rear. It wasn't bright red-just sort of pinkish and mixed with alot of mucus. So anyways I freaked out and called my Ob and they told me not to worry-it didn't sound dangerous, just to take it easy and keep an eye on it. It tapered off very quickly and I haven't bled at all today. I know I'm probably just being paraniod but I could really use some words of reassurance. I've never had bleeding of any kind during my pregnancies so this is new and scary to me. I'm not scheduled to go in to the doctor until next Tuesday so I'm afraid I won't feel better until then.

Lisa replied: I had bleeding like that with my last pg and all turned out ok. I was a bit earlier than you. But if its stopped and you haven't had anymore i'd say your fine.

amynicole21 replied: Eek! I'd be scared, too. I think that as long as you aren't experiencing any more you're in the clear.

Kaitlin'smom replied: sounds scary, but if Ihad know early that i was pg I would have freeked when I had a period...for 4 moths and she turned out just fine.

coasterqueen replied: It's probably just nothing. Maybe you are too stressed out right now, about the house and such?? Maybe try to find a way to relax some (easier said than done). Stress can cause funny things to happen with anyone let alone a pg woman .

MommyToAshley replied: I don't think it is anything to worry about, it is probably just from the constipation, kwim. As long as you don't have any more bleeding, then I wouldn't be concerned. I am sure your Doc hears this all the time... in fact, I think there was another thread on here very similar. If I find it, I'll post a link to it.

I know it's not easy, but try not to worry.

5littleladies replied: Thanks you guys, and thank you Dee Dee for looking that up for me. I know I'm being silly-my preggo hormones are haywire right now. Hopefully I'll settle down soon.

MomToMany replied: As long as it doesn't start again, you should be fine. I had some early bleeding with both of the girls which really scared me. If it starts again, don't hesitate to go to the doctor.

mummy2girls replied: i had something similar happen to me with jordan. I was17 weeks along and i was really constipated. And when i wiped after i saw blood. It was a little mucusy also...

kimberley replied: i am sure it is nothing. i agree with Karen about the amount of stress you have been under with family and renovations. maybe your body is telling you to slow down. try to take it easy and take comfort in that fact that it stopped and don't hesitate to go to the dr if it occurs again.

Heather replied: I had some spotting with Holly. I believe I was far along as you are. My doc said it most likely was from stress or doing too much (It was over Christmas, I actually started spotting on Christmas Day). Just try to take it easy as much as you can!

momof2girls replied: With my 2nd dd I had spotting my entire pregnancy, freaked out several times rushed to the Dr they would do a us and all was fine, Dr said sometimes it happens for no reason.
My daughter is now 9 mo old and healthy.
I know it scares you, it scared me everytime!
