A&A'smommy wrote: Alyssa has to go see an ent tomorrow and I believe he is going to tell us that Alyssa needs tubes! She has had fluid behind her ears for 2 months straight possibly longer her ped. did a test on her ears tuesday and he was expecting it to be abnormal but it was quite a bit worse than he expected so instead of having us wait 6wks to see if it got better he had them set up an app. right away. Anyway tomorrow at 9am we have to be at the ENTs office and I'm kinda nervous... if she does have to get tubes I'm going to be freaking out a little I DON"T want to put my baby under anthesia I have been hearing too many horror stories lately!! sad.gif

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: I will keep my fingers crossed for you. hug.gif

BAC'sMom replied: your in my thoughts and prayers hug.gif

1lilpeanut2love replied: You both are in my thoughts and prayers. Don't worry to much. I am sure she will be just fine. Good luck tomorrow at the appointment! hug.gif

A&A'smommy replied: thanks guys.. I forgot to add that I don't mind doing the tubes because I have noticed lately that she jabbers a LOT and I think its because she can't really hear.. kinda scary!

3xsthefun replied: Good luck tomorrow. You will be in my thoughts tomorrow. hug.gif

aspenblue1 replied: Good luck tomorrow. I know how scary that is I went through it with Kyrsten but before I was even sitting in the waiting room they were coming to get me. I couldn't believe how quick it was. I also helped he a lot since she could hear again.

A&A'smommy replied:
did you notice before that she couldn't hear very well? I mean alyssa ignores and now I can't tell when she is ignoring me or if she can't hear...

aspenblue1 replied: Yeah she was a lot quiter than Isabella was at that age and as soon as the surgery she would scream and yell and jabber so much more. Our friends little girls had it the same time as Kyrsten she was about 11/2 and not really talking yet after the suregery she it talking up a storm and right after the surgery she would hold her ear in a crowd becuase she hadn't heard noise clear. It is amazing the difference it makes and how much better they can hear.

A&A'smommy replied:
yeah I'm REALLY hoping it will help her speach somethings she says really good and others you really can't understand very... and today it was SO funny she got really really quiet and I was like baby whats wrong and she rubbed her little belly and said "i sorta don't feel good" I was like WHAT?? where did that come from tongue.gif

luvmykids replied: Please KUP and best of luck at the ent! hug.gif

mummy2girls replied: ((HUGS))) Jessi! I went through this a few motnhs ago because of jennas ears and speech. She didnt need them though. I know the feeling to hear she may need tubes. I was shaking! You know what i think if she needs she will and then it will improve her hearing and speech:) Its good to catch this early before problems happen(((HUGS)))

A&A'smommy replied:
