jacobsmama wrote: Jacob is going to be 3 January 30th!!! bawling.gif Where did the time go...so bittersweet... blush.gif

Anyhow....we have about 10 kids who come all aged from like 2-5 just wondering if anyone knows any games that would go over well. I always do goodie bags and last year we played pin the tail on the donkey and it was fun. But this year looking for something fun. Don't get to do the pinata thing because of it being insdie and January. Thanks in advance!!! wub.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Pin the tail on the donkey
Duck Duck Goose

I can't think of anything else.... laugh.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Do you have a chucky cheese or Petland in the area? Christian (c&k'smommmy) had her birthday party at petland and they get to walk around and look at the animals and then they get to pick 4 or 5 animals to pet and sit down with for a couple minutes....It was really cute.

mckayleesmom replied: Or...since its indoors...what about a themed party like....movie party or leggo party........

mckayleesmom replied: cookie decorating party......Craft party

Im trying to think of as much as I can laugh.gif

mckayleesmom replied: At walmart.....by where the picture film and stuff is stored.....You can by plain snowglobes that the kids can put pictures in and you can buy little knick nacks for them to glue on the outside of them to spruce them up......That would be alot of fun. Just put in the reservation for them to bring their picture along with them

redplaydoh replied: Play "pass the package". Wrap a small gift/goodie in several layers of wrapping paper and have the kids sit in a circle passing the package to each other. When the music stops (adult controlled) the child holding it gets to take off one layer of paper, this continues until all the paper is off. The one that takes the last layer off gets to keep the prize.

Buy inexpensive plain photo books or frames, put out stickers and any other stuff that can be stuck on to the outside. Let the kids decorate the book/frame, take a picture of the b-day party group and print off copies of the picture to place in the book/frame and let each kid take home their own creation plus a picture from the party.

mckayleesmom replied:
That sounds like a cute idea too.....although the wrapping paper one sounds really cute.....I would wait till he was older to play that....The age of the children might cause some problems with that game.....They might get it and refuse to pass it. laugh.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: potato sack race across the living room using pillow cases? Pillow mountian. Let the kids pile all of the sofa cushions on the floor and climb all over them? Build a fantastic fort. And they do have piniatas now that each child just pulls a ribbon and it o pens. You could try one of those.

jacobsmama replied: Thanks ladies...those are great ideas...I'm looking for something more active too...hmmm rolling_smile.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
cool.gif You can do a funny excersises party...

mckayleesmom replied: or a dance party.

Mckaylee and Russell have a video by sesamee street where big bird has a dance party and they love that move and getting up and dancing to it.

jacobsmama replied: THANKS!! I think I've got it ladies! your great! tongue.gif

moped replied: I can't believe he will be 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW

grapfruit replied: One thing that we did at my nieces party that went over well was picture frames. (Although there were more girls) They got to dress up and then get their pictures taken and then I ran to Wal-Mart and had them developed while the kids made frames. Then we put the pictures w/the frames! (The frames were the foam frames you get in the craft section. then they glued jewels and used glitter glue and stuff)

Since there will probably be more boys you could tailor it to have them do action shots or dress like sports heros, spiderman, or whatever. Just an idea!

Boo&BugsMom replied: Have them do an art project. www.orientaltrading.com has some great craft kits. What about a pinata indoors? They make some with strings to pull instead of wacking it with a bat.

siblingtooolivia replied: They have pinatas now that you pull strings instead of swinging a bat or stick at - check them out - they are so much fun and nice cause you can do them being that it is inside..
