Need advice

momof2girls replied: I voted disney, because I love Disney!
kimberley replied: me too! i love all the disney princess stuff they have out now! too cute!
MomToMany replied: I voted for Disney Princess too! Much cuter!
mom89 replied: I voted princess as well.
loveydad replied: Ugh I posted but it must not have gone through.
Yeah I like it more too- it'll grow with her. My freind's kid is 7 and still likes disney princess.
I can sell her dora bed (which is why I felt like doing it dora) for the same price as I can buy a new disney princess bed, (attatched, I just found it at target!! cute!!) because I have a freind who's child is 2 and need a bed.
Kila replied: I voted for Disney princess because I think you can do a little more with it and, you're right, she will probably won't outgrow it as fast as Dora.
jennysteurer replied: I agree that the princess theme will last her longer than the Dora. My neices still love princesses and they are 6. Plus there are so many movies and toys and things that she can get into as well.
I don't have any girls, so I hope this helps.

MommyToAshley replied: I let Ashley pick out her theme. I wanted to do a garden/butterfly theme but she went with Strawberry Shortcake. She liked the Princesses too but decided on Strawberry Shortcake in the end. Ashley got to help do the room, and she loves just loves her room. She still talks about helping to do her room. So, I say let her choose. It may mean that you will end up redoing it in a year or so, but she will most likely love the room and that's what matters..right?
loveydad replied: She goes back and forth. I think we're going with princesses because she gets so excited when I show her stuff for her new room.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I voted for the Disney Princess Theme. Jade's room is slowly being done in this theme. They even have a Disney Princess TV and DVD player which she got for Christmas from my parents. She goes in there and watches movies while I get stuff done. I got her this really cute toddler bed set as well from Wal-Mart. Here's a link to that set.

Jamison'smama replied: Okay, I'm the odd one---I like Dora. I like who she is as a character---she, to me is a cool female character!!! I do think the princess theme may last longer though. I am all about doing a neutral theme and then adding accessories that can be changed. We bought giant sticker-like wall hanging stuff with Dora on them at Home Depot that were inexpensive and removable!
chloe&tysmommy replied: We did Strawberry Shortcake for Chloe too...she just loves it
I agree with Dee Dee, maybe let her decide which one she likes better. I personally like them both so I'm of no help
loveydad replied: Today I took her to Target and Walmart for a few hours and pointed out all the neat princes sstuff there was. She freaked. We're going with princess.
That's a great idea Jamison's mom -something I'll probably do until I can actually paint.
loveydad replied: OH THAT IS CUTE! I'll seriously consider getting that set! Adorable! Thanks for that link!
ammommy replied: You know, you can kind of do both. There is now a fairy tale princess Dora. Maybe you can put some of those accessories in the princess room. That way, everyone is happy!
loveydad replied: I really don't like dora that much. SHe's kind of ugly. That's a good idea, but I don't really like mixing the rooms , i did that in the twins room and it looks really weird... I've seen the dora princess stuff- pretty cute - but somehow it's just not as tame as the princess stuff and it's too.... colorful.
You're right, I could do a dora mural if I ever get that done.. or find some dora stick em ups, (someone suggested this) and put those up, then take them down when i do the mural.
I appreciate your guy's ideas.
