Neat story - (Religious)

MommyToAshley wrote: DH was watching Ashley this afternoon and I went downstairs to check on them.... actually I missed them both. DH was watching TV and the show caught my interest. I am not sure what channel it was, but most likely it was TLC. The show was about a lady who was very close to her father (they had been close all their life and had a very special bond), but he was very sick and dieing. They were at peace with the fact that he was dieing and the entire family was by his side. He told his daughter that when he got to Heaven that he would blink the lights to let her know he made it there. Soon after that, her father passed away.

The next day, she was making the funeral arrangements with her Mom and Aunt. Her Aunt noticed the lights in the dining room blinking, but the daughter didn't see it because she had her back to the dining room. The Aunt said something about "there must be a short" but then the daughter told her Aunt about what her father had said. (Her Aunt didn't know about what the father had said until this time) The daughter then said, "Dad, that doesn't count, I didn't see it"

So, the next day, the Aunt and daughter were at the florist. When they left, the Aunt asked the daughter if she had seen the lights blinking in the florist shop, but the daughter was so distracted that she didn't see that either. So, again she said "Dad, that doesn't count, I didn't see it"

That night, the daughter was walking down the hall in her house when the light came on. Then it went off. The odd thing about this is that the light had never worked since they had moved into that house. The following day, she had called an electirician out to the house to look at the light and it had never been hooked up to the switch. They showed an interview with the electrician and he said there was no way that light could have worked. She looked up and told her Dad that she got the message.
