Naked baby!

It's making DH really mad and he keeps telling her it's inappropriate behavior. She absolutely refuses to wear a shirt most days at home now. Apparently she thinks she's a boy.

I really hope she's not doing this at daycare and I hope this phase goes by quickly.

5littleladies replied: Lol!! My Dh would be mad too if our girls did that. I would be laughing my butt off!! I'm sure it will pass quickly. You could throw her in the bathtub everytime she gets naked-tell her that is the only place she can have her clothes off.

booey2 replied: Karen, welcome to my world. Thomas no sooner walks in the door then he sheds his clothes and takes them to his laundry basket. It is all I can do to get him to wear underwear around the house.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol! I had a friend who's little girl would shed her clothes whenever and wherever. They were on vacation once in California and they looked to see what she was doing and she was running around naked outside.



That's hilarious! At least he puts his clothes in the hamper!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Ha! How funny! Maddie loves being naked, but she has never stripped unless she is getting dressed for bed. Scotty would be upset if she did that, too.

Well we started him early on picking up his clothing, now only if DH would follow in his footsteps. I still find clothing behind the bathroom door in the evening after he has had his morning shower he doesn't pick it up . It is quite the treat when my family comes over and use the washroom closing the bathroom door and finding his undergarments there.

MomToMany replied: LOL!! Hannah likes being naked too. We don't have a problem with it. She's never done it in public YET, although she liked lifting her dress up at our family Christmas party .

ctymom replied: That's so funny.... my daughter loves her "nudie baby" time. She wears her diaper but she loves to run around with no clothes on. She'll scream if I try and put clothes on her. So I just let her have her time. She tries to go without a diaper but after peeing on the floor twice... no more of that!

Boys r us replied: Ohhh Tell Ryan to calm down!! It's VERY normal behavior at this age. Braedon loves to run around naked! I don't really see anything wrong with it...as he gets older we will explain to him that if he wants to be naked it's okay, but he needs to stay in his room while he is. But right now? I don't really focus on it

I think this is where their innocence shines through. KWIM? We see something one way through our tainted eyes, where as the 2 yr old sees nothing wrong with it..b/c she's still pure and innocent and has no idea it could be deemed inappopriate!

You know I don't see anything wrong with it either Nichole, but for some reason DH does not like it. He doesn't care that she goes around without a shirt but he said it's inappropriate for her to go around naked showing her "uh-oh" parts. I asked him why it was ok for her to go around without a shirt and he said her uh-oh parts aren't showing there yet. MEN! Now if she was a boy he'd probably not care.

Hmmm, that's interesting Karen. I bet he wouldn't care if a boy was running around naked. And "uh-oh" parts? Does he see something wrong with female parts? Does he think she's going to do something wrong? What does he call them around her?

Sorry for all the questions, but it seems like he sees something wrong with his point of view.

coasterqueen replied: No I'm sure he would be different about it Mollie if she were a boy. He doesn't call them anything around her. He only calls them "uh-oh" parts around me. He just recently started using that term because I've been having a LOT of sharp "v" pains down there and when I'd jump from the pain of having them he'd say "uh-oh". So now that's what he calls them. I won't say no more. MEN!

TANNER'S MOM replied: All my kids have had there naked time! Don't worry because it seems that about the time they start getting to old to be naked around the house is the times when they start to get modest. It's nice that it works out that way.

I always let my kids be naked if they wanted, as long as we didn't have company. My granny used to tell me to let my kids air out daily. Even as babies to lay them on a blanket, that didn't matter if it got peed on, b/c it would help with diaper rash etc. It did work.

Tanner used to like to sleep naked., You would put him to bed in clothes and you would get him up and he would be butt naked. I never said nothing, b/c that is how I prefer to sleep too. And of course he has since outgrown it.

We leave so far in the country, that we sometimes lay out in the sun naked. To tan. And when Tanner would toddle around he would get naked too. He told my MIL that and she flipped out. I said I am raising my son to be PROUD of his body. I think that too. I want all my children to be comfortable with there bodies and not be ashamed of it.

And the wonderful thing is at 5 about the time they started school, they started
going to there own rooms to get dressed. Started wearing a towel or robe and started demanding privacy from brothers and sisters.

My DH didnt' are care if it was the boys or girls naked. He always said it's a baby body!

I just meant that I won't go any further into how much of a dork my DH can be.

Josie83 replied: That Kylie is so funny! I don't really think that there is a problem with it but I supose if Ryan feels that strongly you have to respect his feelings! cassie's not really a big fan of naked. She'd rather be ambling about in osmething of mine or Jason's xx

Kirstenmumof3 replied: This is perfectly normal behaviour. My older 2 went through a phase like this at around the same age as Kylie. It doesn't last very long!

dreamweaver82 replied: Angel constantly takes her clothes off but only inside someone's house. Everytime we come home she sheds her clothes and wants to put on daddy's shirt. Normaly the only thing she wears is her diaper. I'm trying to get her out of this habit but so far no luck.
