My husband has been deployed for 10 months and i dont know how i survived this long with these 2 kids.. The hard part is the winter time because, the kids get bored and its real cold in the winter time...
MommyToAshley replied: Hello and Welcome!
It's nice to meet you. You have a beautiful family! I bet you are excited that your husband is getting out of the army. I grew up as an army brat, and while it was neat to travel, I don't think I would want to do it for another 20 years.
I am Dee Dee, married to Rodney (TLCDad on here) and we have daughter, Ashley that recently turned 2.
I am looking forward to getting to know you better.

LovingmyBoriqua replied: My husband is looking more foward getting out than I'm. I'm a military brat my father was in the army, my grandpa, uncle, 2nd cousin and great uncle were all Active Duty Army my great uncle he was in the Navy. So, I was pretty much used to my husband leaving. But, when he left i did miss him the 2 yrs I've learned about the military life my husband was gone most of the time which happens when your husband is in the military i didnt mind him going because you have no choice but take that vow and accept the army life. But, it was sad seeing my husband go because the kids were so young my 2 1/2 yr old was only 2 while through out the deployment he been through ear tube surgery and he was injuried in child daycare and my 11mth was only 1 month old when his dad left when my husband came home for his leave my 2 1/2 yr old was happy and my 11mth old didnt really remember my husband. Which is another reason why my husband plans to ETS because, he miss so much out of these 10 month deployment. I just hope my husband can find a better job outside the military.
