luvbug00 wrote: Mya had her allergy appt today and she is allergic to EVERYTHING outdoors! cats, dogs, hay , mold, dust mites. you name it she has it. ( well except most foods) she is allergic HIGHLY to burch trees. ( which i suppose have the sillilar cel make up as raw apple and some other fruits and so she can't eat that) she now has to go get 3 shots once a week and has to carry 2 epi pins arround with her EVERYWHERE. I'm sooo stressed and freaked out and we are canceling our honeymoon to pay for the meds..( but who cares I want my baby to be better!!!) i'm sorry i'm soo stressed!!! bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif

I wish her well. hug.gif
And I hope you can destress for a little while, long enough to give yourself a break considering all the stress you are already under. Very commendable of you to put the honeymoon aside, for your baby. I hope you two can still get away for a bit, just to relax your nerves. hug.gif hug.gif

redchief replied: Sorry Nadia, more for the fact that it is hitting you so hard financially than anything. I'm glad Mya's allergies are controllable. sad.gif

amynicole21 replied: Wow - that's crazy!! At least you know now though. I hope it's something she can grow out of. Poor Mya sleep.gif

CantWait replied: I'm so sorry Nadia, however I'm glad it's a controlled issue and not serious. hug.gif hug.gif

coasterqueen replied: hug.gif She'll be ok, so please don't stress out. It's good you are getting this taken care of now. If it makes you feel any better I'm highly allergic to EVERYTHING outside, inside, cats, onions, etc, etc, etc. I did the several shots a week thing and finally am in maintenance so I just get one shot in each arm every 28 days. It was hard and painful at first getting used to those shots, but now I've gotten used to it. It was totally worth it. I used to have to wear a mask to mow the yard, my eyes would swell shut even if I did and I couldn't touch my cats. Now I can do all that with no problems, minor problems.
