My weekend - finally can tell you all about it

The place we went was SOOO beautiful and not far from home but far enough to feel like we got away. There is sooo much to do we are looking foward to going back with Kait. They have swimming both indoor and outdoor, 3 golf courses, skiiing in the winter, minuture golf, play ground, a lake, a museum, a zoo, gardens, green house, shopping, horse back riding, winter festival of lights (so beautiful). We saw where everything was but did not do it all. The food was INCREDIBLE, breakfast is included with the price of the room, and it not the cheep continental breakfast but a full buffet, with EVERTHING for breakfast you can thing of, so we made it brunch both days, that way we did not have to have lunch Satuday we did go horseback riding, and just as we were rounding the corner to line up to dismount I fell off yep that why my hand was injured. Here is what happned, there was a little hill we had to go up he kinda ran up it the sattle started to slipp and just as I was tring to shift it back he ran up the scond little hill and it slipped further and then down I went onto the pavement, I knew I was falling and nothing more I coudl do so I let go of the rains and got my feet out of the sturreps and aimed to land on my butt, well my hand also hit the pavement as well as my right hip/butt. I did not break anything (okay my nail ) or sprain anything but I did scrape my hand up pretty good and got some brusing, over all I was very lucky and I am on the mend.

Over all the weekend was nice I loved the resort and we will be making it a family place to go.

coasterqueen replied: Sounds like a great weekend, besides the fall . I LOVE resorts! They are my most favorite place to go and I try to encourage my employer to let me run our retreats at resorts, we did this year and it was awesome!

As far as your hand, I hope it heals soon. Funny this happened to you, well not, but I tripped in the Target parking lot this weekend after getting both girls in the car (walking to my side of the car) and landed on my hands...scraped them both up and bruised them. So you weren't the only one.

yep you can stay as long as you want most of those prices are specails. I woudl love to spend a week or more there

I love Oglebay. I used to go to an adoption conference there every year about this time~the lights are so beautiful!! I keep telling Stephen we should stay there sometime. We take Olivia there every year to see the lights, too. Very pretty!!
