My son turned us in
Celestrina wrote: Tonight as we were eating dinner, a police officer knocks on our door. He says that someone dialed 911. We had no clue what he was talking about. Then I remembered that my 23-month-old son had gotten his paws on the phone right before dinner. That little bugger dialed 911! Now we might get fined for a false alarm.
Heather replied: Oh my...that is a sin that they are going to fine you. UGH. Those little buggers can really get into some trouble.
ediep replied: oh no!!!! Thats crazy!!! My friends daughter did the same thing when she was younger
JessC replied: Thats stupid you might get fined!? I would be so mad!!
Celestrina replied: Were they fined? How much?
kimberley replied: this happened to me when the boys were little. in my case, they just gave me a warning but i could have been fined for it. life is never dull with kids, eh?
Mommy2BAK replied: Oh I am sorry, but it is kind of funny.
A&A'smommy replied: ooops I hope they will be understanding!!
loveydad replied: My sons did that. V and K would get mad and call saying how their dad was such a big meanie. Never got fined after the first time they learned to call back, because I had my hands full! That was in Carlsbad.
iluvmysweetiepies replied: Been there done that. Ashlyn called when she was 3. Sorry, I hope you aren't fined!
Des replied: shucks! hope you don't get fined!!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: My son did this when he was I think around 3. All that happened was that an officer came to our door and talked to him about how calling 911 was only for emergencies. I didn't think you could get fined for that. I hope you don't.
Celestrina replied: I'm hoping that we won't be fined. The officer who came by said that his son did it often. It got to the point that he told the other officers to ignore any 911 calls coming from his house!
Kaitlin'smom replied: little bugger
Kaitlin did this to me, thankfully I got on the phone and talk to the person, boy was I emabrassed.
Josie83 replied: The little monkey! I hope that you don't get fined xx
MommyToAshley replied: My sister's kids did the same thing at my Mom's house (their grandma's house) when they were younger. The officer made my Mom come outside and talk to them, I guess they wanted to make sure she wasn't being abused. Boy, was she embarrassed, but now it is kind of funny. I didn't know you could be fined for that kind of thing though.
