Mostly it stains EVERYTHING purple. I put a little in her mouth last night, and her drool is still purple this morning. its to treat Thrush.

Well, but does it kill the yeasts or is it like an anit-bacterial thing? It's seems like more of a pain than a cure. KWIM? But also doesn't seem to bother her, just stain stuff so mommy is upset. Funny what we'll do for our kids, huh? I hope she feels better soon.

Its gotta be an anti fungal, since yeast is a funcus, not a bacteria. Isn't that lovely? fungus in my baby's mouth?

I do know that this is what people used in the days before monistat and nystatin. I never had good luck with the Nystatin, so we just decided to try this stuff first.

Oh and they can't MAKE a clear version cause it is all natural and from an actual VIOLET plant. Hence the purple hue. Cameron had it once when he had thrush as an infant.. it was funny to see teh purple cheeks
