My nose - *sinus cavity mentioned*

Or you could try just warm water & salt mixture, cupped in your hands and snorting it and blowing it out.

I saw this commercial once about some nose irrigation spray. You stick it up one side and it drips out of the other. It looked really nasty but who cares what you look like. If you gotta get it out you gotta get it out.

holley79 replied: I use saline and get some moisture in there. Then I try to blow it out. If that doesn't work then like Lisa said I try to get it to go the other way.

It holds a liter of water, you add a packet of salt powder to make it a saline solution and you stick the nozzle in one side, lean over and squeeze. This thing washes your sinuses out and drains out the other nostril. It's NOT pretty, but it isn't horrible doing it (like I imagined it would be). Afterward I feel very good, my nose feels very open and not stuffy. Since I've been doing this I haven't had to take even one allergy pill. I swear by washing your nose.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Sorry couldn't help but laugh about not sticking things up your nose! I think if it's causing you this much discomfort I would go and see your doctor. Maybe you have a blockage in your sinuses.
