I thought I'd share a few of her pictures with you. The quality isn't the greatest, but I think it is ok for her first camera.

A picture of the tree Christmas morning. (Notice it is a little tattered from the presents being pulled out)

OMG, I can't believe I am sharing this picture of me... morning hair and a bright flash in my face...LOL


She took a picture of her own tree and her presents for her friends.


She took a picture of all her presents, individually. LOL! Here's one of the piano/guitar that my Mom gave her.

I love looking at all the pictures she's taken. It's like a glimpse of what they see. So cute... I am so glad Santa decided to bring her a camera.

i may be a bit biased when i say this but i think it's great that you're getting her interested in photography so young, it's certainly a great hobby at any age!
it's also kind of interesting just to see things from their perspective...remember that they're looking at the world from somewhere between 3 and 4 feet in height so it looks so much different to them!

I was at a 5 yr old party once and they had the throw away cameras on the tables for the kids to use,.,they left them and the mom had them devolped..she got some really neat up close pics..some where too funny...like how big really looks to a 5 yr old..lol

I love it.. I am glad Santa gave her one too!!

We have some very similar ones from teh very same cameras. My mom got Both Cameron and Kathleen one of those for Christmas and tehy haven't put them down either.. DH has to keep unloading the pictures cuase we didn't get memory cards for them so after they fill them up (i think ti's liek 60 pics or somethign) he empties it and they fillit again!
And liek you said I now know how they feel with a camera always in their face ! LOL

We did a cute thing when Olivia got her digital a couple of years ago. We had her take pictures of letter items a day. The first day she took pictures of things that started with A, next day B, etc. She made a little book out of them and still looks at that to this day. It was great practice for her and she had so much fun doing it!

Ohh... that's a neat idea! We will have to do that. They do a letter each day at preschool so I can coordinate with that. What a great idea... Thanks for sharing!
