My little brother saw a neurosurgeon - Update and prayers needed.....

Ive posted a few times asking for prayers for my little brother Mattie(4 yrs old) who has Cerebral Palsy and now we need them again...

Mattie is doing well regarding his chest but his feeding tube is giving soooo many problems!!!! It has just been popping out at every chance,whenever he coughs or sneezes out it comes..which causes him so much pain!! You might remember he had an operation a while ago to make another hole in his tummy for a new feeding tube and the other hole was closed...well now the 2 holes have joined and formed one big one!!!Its sooo painful for him!! His Gastroenerologist is trying to figre out what to do about it cos if its left like this,it could cause many more problems and could possibly become fatal if its just left like this for a long time...but theres still plenty of time to sort that out. He may have to go to see a paediatric specialist in a city about 18 hrs away from us!!!!!He will do an op on Mattie to sort out the tummy and reform it altogether!!!

My mum took him to see a neurosurgeon yeterday about 1 hrs drive away from where we live just to get some advice.He recommended some medication for Matthew to help relax his muscles.He was very thorough and he wants blood tests done on Mattie just to rule out the possibility that he doesn't have some other disorder besides his cerebral palsy,but we don't think he has.All his problems were at birth when the gynae messed up.

Please keep him in your prayers....he is strong but he needs all the prayers he can get.He is truly a miracle little guy!!!I just feel so much anger towards the gynae who delivered Mattie at birth and I can't get over it!!!You won't belive the trauma my family has been through.I know we supposed to forgive and forget but I just can't.

Its been a tough road for Mattie but as you said,he is a fighter.He is truly my role model.
