My last supper.
PrairieMom wrote: I go see the chiropractor firday to visit with him about my Thrush issues. I KNOW he is going to put me on that stupid stupid diet again. I just have a feeling. So, I am preparing myself. I have 4 whole days to eat like its my last chance. I have been eating nothing but junk for a week! I want to have all my favorite things just one more time. KWIM? So, I had Mcdonalds, Arbys, , starbucks, hotdogs, pizza, spinach and artichoke dip and my favorite restraunt, We will be going to another favorite restraunt tomorrow night, then to cold stone creamery. I am hitting taco bell for lunch today. I am trying to think of what else I want to have one last time.
what would you all have to eat one more time if it was your very last chance?
lisar replied: Lasagna, noodles with diffrent creames, taco bell, Arby's, Krystals, Krispy Creme.
Thats all I can think of right now. Good luck with the appt.
cameragirl21 replied: i'd have tons of pizza and sweets but i think you should tell the doc that it didn't work. my cat has tons of allergies and her vet put her on a special (very expensive) diet and she was on it for years and nothing had changed so i took her to another vet and his first question was, "why would a cat on this cat food still have allergies?" so he changed her diet to something she actually likes (that's just as expensive but at least she likes it) and now her allergies are gone. obviously what you were on wasn't working so maybe it's time to do something else, i'd tell the chiro that for sure. also, you may want to consider going to see an acupuncturist and see if they can help...idk if they can do anything for thrush but i know a number of people who've used acupuncture to get rid of migraines and allergies and they say it worked like a charm. i imagine what you have may be considered an allergy because of the way your body reacts to certain foods/bacteria, etc....
hopefulmomtobe replied: Hey - just a question...I used to work for a couple of Chiropractors over the years and we never saw people for thrush. Why would they send you to a Chiropractor for that?
Honestly just wondering...
PrairieMom replied: He is a chiropractor that practices kinesiology and does allergy testing. I am seeing him for the kinesiology and allergy part.
hopefulmomtobe replied: awwwwww it is all clear now!
I was wondering how a bone/alignment doctor was suppose to help with thrush!
Eat it all up girl before you see him!!!
PrairieMom replied: I'm not real sure myself how this guy is going to help, but I am hopeful. I tend to look at chiropractors more like "witch Dr's " ya know? but we will see. At this point I am wide open to anything. It has been suggested I try accupuncture too, a few times, so I will keep that in mind too, but at this point I am exploring a few avenues and don't want to get to much on my plate. I don't want to many hands in my business.
As for having Taco bell for lunch today, Ben got real sassy with me in the car, so we didn't get to eat it. Why is it that when HE is bad I get punished too? I was soooo tempted to go through the drive through to just get food for me and make him watch me eat it. OOHHHH! that kid is pushing my buttons.
Calimama replied: I really hope this doctor can do something for you hun.
PrairieMom replied: oohhhh Krispy kreme. yummy! Ours went out of business around the time I originally started the diet. I was saying prayers of thanks at the time! one less temptation! It sure sounds good now tho! I wonder where the nearest one is? probably hours away.
hopefulmomtobe replied: I don't think they are witch doctors as in alignment sense...I have seen plenty of people come in all bent over and hardly walking and then walk right out the door. It is actually really neat (if you get a good one) But, as far as your thrush goes, I dont know about what he will do to help you out with that...I really hope it isnt some "herbal" meds he will give you, that is usually when I raise an eyebrow. Not that I dont believe in "herbal" remedies, but sometimes Chiropractors are sooo against medicines that they would rather you suffer for weeks and only use herbal remedies until your condition clears up. I dont really think that is very far to do to your body.
holley79 replied: I would have the spinich articoke dip for sure. Olive Garden, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, Starbucks, all beef hotdogs, and whatever else I could get my lips on.
BabyOwen427 replied: Homemade chocolate chip cookies, brownies, snickerdoodles, sugar cookies. I love cookies and baked goods.
PrairieMom replied: I have already been dealing with this for 4 years now, and conventional Dr's are just blowing me off, or trying the same thing over and over. I am already trying some herbal things, but really, I have n o idea what I am doing with it, so I am looking for some direction in that area. I really have hope that the infectious disease Dr can help me but I can't see him until 5-29. So at least this is an avenue to explore in the mean time. I am a bit guarded about this approach too, believe me I'm not looking to waste my $.
PrairieMom replied: I forgot about cookies! I wonder what ingredients I have in the cupboard...
stella6979 replied: Applebee's Fiesta Lime Chicken with rice and homemade tacos with lots and lots of sour cream and hot sauce. Oh and if we're throwing drinks in the mix, I'll take 2 full carafs of Sangria from Los Galanes.
