My husband is the best!

coasterqueen wrote: Ryan has been so great lately, especially while he's on the no smoking wagon. I've had a lot of late night work functions (after the girls go to bed) and he's been there and helps me in the morning when I'm REALLY tired. I've spent the past 4+ years not going out or doing anything and he always did and now that I need to be out more for work he's not complaining one bit. wub.gif

We started the bowling season saying that we'd trade off and on so someone is always home with the girls. Well he decided that I'm enjoying the whole bowling thing more than him and so he's letting me do it every week. It's so nice to get a few hours out once a week by myself and not at work. I feel human again. blush.gif Sad to say. Luckily I don't leave til the girls are getting a bath and getting ready for bed so I still get to see them before going and only miss bedtime. The last two Tuesday's I've called him after bowling and asked if it would be ok to go to the bar with some of my league friends and he didn't mind. wub.gif And the best thing of all is I got home from the bar and he had spent all his time outside in the dark trying to get my Christmas lights working so I'd see them when I came home. wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Sorry, I just had to share. blush.gif

lisar replied: He is so sweet. I am glad your happy. My Dh does that for me every once in a while.

coasterqueen replied:
Yeah, I don't know how long it's going to last so I'm enjoying it while I can. laugh.gif I'm just amazed at how nice he's being while trying to quit smoking. In the past he was the meanest most horrible person to me and so I dreaded the thought of him doing it this time. I was also afraid he'd be that way to the girls, but he's not. He's really quitting and best of all he's not raiding the fridge 24/7 with cravings like we both did long ago when quitting. happy.gif

Calimama replied: Awwwww what a sweetie! I'm glad you get to get out and have some "you" time. hug.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: That is so nice of him thumb.gif

booey2 replied: Karen, glad to see he is appreciating you and letting you time to have some fun. Enjoy it a little for me too, the only me time I am getting is my 1 hour for my meeting a week or if I am sick and then it is hard to come by. Have fun. smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: Aww that's so sweet of him! thumb.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: sounds than like he is really committed to quitting this time, I have seen thoes who are grumpy or mean when they quite are not 100% sure they want to quite or think they will fail, but if they are positive and really want to they are just happier. Good for him and glad he is taking care of you.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Karen, can he talk to your Randy..lol

I am so glad things are on the upswing..Enjoy girl!!!
