My husband is in love with someone else

Her name is.....ROOMBA.

He has been bugging me for a LONG time to get a Roomba and they came out with a newer improved model and so he got one this weekend. He's spent his entire weekend with her.

How can a man be in love with something like that? I know lots of other things I could have spent all that money on than a robot vacume cleaner.

booey2 replied: Okay you had me going - til I scrolled down that is. Thank goodness it is just a vaccum. I always wanted one of them but DH won't go for it. He thinks it is just another gadget to make us do even less around the house.

I'm in a weird mood this morning. A roomba is a robot vacume cleaner. You just turn it on and it vacumes the floors on it's own. It's pretty cool! But still not worth the money IMO,

Anyway, have no clue what a roomba is, but I say anytime you can get a dh interested in cleaning it can't be a bad thing.

On the other hand, my DH falls in love (easily) with appliances, cars, organizational tools, etc. So, I totally know how you feel.

Yes it does go back to it's charger. It's the "discovery" model. It's pretty cool, but I think DH is going to wear holes in the carpet he's running the thing so much. He's running it as we speak.

It's alright. My girlfreind is in love with our vaccum too. She's always sashaying it down the hall, snseaking it into her room and all hours of the night *sighs* She loves that darn vaccum more than she loves me!!

(that was a joke- my gf rarely vaccums if she starts I tell her I'll do it.)

We've had one for a couple of years now and she's a member of our family. Katherine loves "our robot" too.

Ours has already become a member of the family too. Dh put her in time-out the other day because she attacked the cat plate and had food all over the kitchen.

Kylie is usually afraid of it right now but she always makes sure mommy turns it on before leaving for work.
