My heart is broken!!!

A&A'smommy wrote: I had to give my Brittany spaniel away today its been killing, I have been in a major bad mood all day, and crying every time I think of her. I miss her SOO much she was my baby girl (well my other baby girl, Alyssa was first). But we had too, as wonderful as she was she had no room in our little house we have a HUGE backyard but only a small pin for the dogs, and we aren't aloud to have large animals in this house, and we don't know how long we will be renting (although we are considering buying this house when the landlord is ready and after he gets some things fixed up). I wish we could have just gone out and bought a new house but there is just no way. When I called my DH and told him the new owners had come to get her and I was okay until he asked me if i was okay, I told him my heart was broken and he told me that he was sorry and that we will buy a big house someday with a big backyard and get another big dog. I couldn't say anything because I don't want another big dog she was my baby, she was SO much like my childhood dog (springer spaniel) she was fun, and so loyal. She looked so confused when they kept trying to get her she would try to run to me and look at me like like she was thinking "whats going on mommy" and she would try to love on me, I wanted to cry right then. I can't believe I'm getting so worked up over a dog but she meant so much to me and I truly believe she was a little hurt, I want her back bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif I'm sitting here bawling I feel like I did when my springer died. I still have Dakota and I adopted an abandoned kitty... Dakota (My chihuahua) is depressed too... he actually cried and watched her leave bawling.gif bawling.gif Alyssa did really good she keeps telling us that daisy went to live with another family. The bad thing is I think I'm going to have to at least get another small dog, Dakota is lonely... anyway I will stop rambling bawling.gif bawling.gif thank you for reading this if you got this far hug.gif

it sucks when you feel like you can't control your own life, like when you rent and have to live by other people's rules. the important thing is that hopefully Daisy's new owners will take good care of her and she'll still have a good life, maybe you can call them and ask if you can visit her.
it's a good thing you could find a good home for her, i've seen people dump dogs on the street out of their cars and drive away and the sad thing is the dogs are so confused that they actually sit there, in the spot they were abandoned, waiting for their owner to come back. bawling.gif

Yes daisys new owners are wonderful I have known the girl since I was a little girl and her husbands mother was my neighbor for a long (and still kinda is), we all hang out at the river so we will definitly see each other there and they said that they take their dogs so I will get to see daisy there wub.gif Its definitly a good thing because she has a bigger dog to play with she was always too rough with dakota...

Actually the dumping part is what happened to my kitty she just kinda showed up at my house one day super skinny and very sweet, now she is fat and spoiled lol

Thank you everyone I cried most of yesterday and I'm feeling a bit better about it today! hug.gif

DansMom replied: hug.gif That is rough. It's great that you'll get to see her and that she'll have more room.
