My grandmother passed away yesterday

Maddie&EthansMom wrote: Around noon. I've been out of town since last Friday. Actually, I'm back home right now. I followed Scotty home last night with the kids. I needed to be alone....there are so many people at my parent's house. I'm exhausted. I'm relieved. I'm incredibly sad. I had a really rough week. But, she died peacefully and had little pain. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday b/c she loved her family and we always made a great effort to all be together on Thanksgiving. We still had a wonderful day...I know she would be proud that we went on despite our sadness.

The funeral is Sunday afternoon and I will probably be heading back to mom and dad's tomorrow morning.
