My friend's baby is having open heart surgery - tomorrow

It's kind of similar to Iain's problem but Will has had a lot of trouble gaining weight--he weighs just under 15lbs at 10 months.

Anyway, please think of him tomorrow if you can for a successful surgery!

Schnoogly replied: He did great! He was only on the bypass machine for 15 minutes, and was so stable after surgery he needed no IV meds or fluids. They repaired his valve with a patch like Iain has and left another hole to close up on its own.

Babys are amazing when it comes to recovering...Big hugs to him and his family...His parents must have been on pins and needles.....Glad everything is ok..Maybe now he will start gaining a little weight...hes a tiny thing.
