My dad is so cute - I have to share this...

I love girls, don't get me wrong, but my Dad has been waiting for a little buddy to go fishing with him for a long time. My sis and I would go fishing with him, but we would always gag and squirm when he took out the bait. And give us twenty minutes max and we're ready to go home!

AHHHHHH I love him so much! He's turning 60 June 5th and that's one of the reasons I'm going out to California. Can't wait!

My dad is 65 and not all that healthy but we are hoping they will find out what is wrong with him. He asked me what Jack wanted for his birthday and I quickly told him a wagon!!!!! My dad is nuts over both of my kids! and both of my kids are NUTS over him and that makes me so happy!!!!! We're opposite of your family..I'm the only girl out of 4 children and my parents have 3 grandsons, no girls to be found except the ones who are being married in by my 3 brothers!! LOL and I know that my dad would melt over a little grand-daughter!

She and I are going fishing this afternoon, in fact. I can't stand the baiting or the removing of hooks part so I'm secretly hoping we don't catch anything!! O likes fishing but still has the attention span of a teensy fly so it's usually a short lived adventure for us!!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Have fun! I do have some fond memories of fishing with my dad. It was always our special time to talk, just the two of us. He would always wake us up REALLY early to go though, which is hard for a little kid! i can't wait to see him out there with Wil.

CCTandME replied: Awww! How sweet. You are lucky. My dad died right before my oldest was conceived. He was sooo great with kids too. There other grandfather died when my oldest was still a baby. She never met him.
