My dad died on Friday

While it was hard to watch him suffer, and to say good bye, it was a profound and beautiful experience for all of us. He died on his own terms, at home with his family and dogs around him, and we all got to say everything that needed to be said. His funeral was an incredible outpouring of love and a complete tribute to everything he stood for in life.
Thank you for all of your love and support through his illness. As we all know, this is a special group of friends here.

I know when my grandfather died it made it so much easier to watch him pass on in his own house with all of his children and grandchildren there with him and we got to spend the best moments with him in those last few days. He too died on his own terms and that made me accept it more because it wasn't in a hospital all alone.

When my stepdad passed on i did not get the chance to tell him goodbye and let him know how much he meant in my life. What a beautiful peaceful way to go on. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
