Jack: Well i disagree

Me: Good vocabulary dude, but I am still the boss of the babies and there won't be any brothers

Jack: That sucks!

I have the same conversation with Mckaylee about once a month. When I explain to her that daddy got himself fixed to where he can't have anymore she reccomends that I "find somebody else".....

"Tanner, you don't even like having Aiden around half the time"

Tanner: "but this one would be different cuz it wouldn't cry as much"

Tanner once saw a huge family in the grocery store and asked if we could have that many kids in our family. I think there were 7 kids. Before Aiden was born Tanner thought that he'd come out as a 4-year-old so Tanner thought he'd have a playmate his age as soon as Aiden was born. Tanner even asked if we could get him a brother his age a few times. Um...no.

My2Beauties replied: Hanna always says she wants a brother now too and I'm like no baby I think mommy is done having kids, she usually tries to stick a boy baby doll up my shirt at that point and show me just how easy it is to have a baby

Have you read The Family Nobody Wanted, by Helen Doss? It's a true story about a couple who couldn't have children and were poor so the adoption agency wouldn't give them any children at first, but they ended up adopting the children that no one else would because they were of mixed races (it was back in the forties or fifties ). Tanner reminded me of it because the oldest boy the adopted was always asking for another boy just the size of him, and they finally ended up getting one.
