My attempt at taking christmas pictures - probably my last

I should probably just go get them done I'm so picky. I'm also not sure of this dress on Megan. I love it but maybe it's just too much for her. I still have that other one I showed you all.

coasterqueen replied: Thanks Brianne. I do have a Christmas hat for both but they are all packed away. I'm just not sure I can get all the Christmas stuff upstairs all by myself since there is so much and a lot of it is super heavy. Gotta see if I can find some poor sap to take pity on me and help me when the time comes. I might try to take some more again when that time comes but if I don't in time to get Christmas cards out then I'm going to just go with one I got.

I think I still my go get some professional ones done, just not for Christmas cards.

2nd..I think that you shouldn't give up on the xmas pics yourself! Just try to come up with a way to make them laugh while doing it, so that you get some great smiles from them and maybe a little xmas decor in the backgroud would add to the touch! instead of carrying EVERYTHING up, just go through the stuff downstairs and get a few items out of it!

ammommy replied: On Megan's first Christmas, I did our pic at home. I had to take 53, count them 53, shots before coming up with a good one. Keep trying, you'll get one. I like the third one, though.

MommyToAshley replied: I love the pictures, I think you did an awesome job! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Megan's dress. I think you can take what you have since they are such cute shots and add a border.

Here's an example of just changing the background and adding a border. Of Course, I didn't spend much time cutting Kylie out, I jsut did it quickly. For the real thing, it would look better. But, I think you have great pictures, you can just add some Christmas stuff to it.

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone and thanks Dee Dee for showing me some ideas. I will keep trying because I want to see what Megan looks like in the other dress and play around w/lighting etc. But it probably won't be til around Thanksgiving time since we are getting ready for out trip. If it doesn't work out I'll just go with one and put a border around it like Dee Dee showed me.

ITA that some color behind/around them i.e. some Christmasy stuff would really bring the feelin of Christmas out or wait until your tree is up and place them in front if it! They look so pretty-keep playing with it you will get one that will be magic!
