My appointment today

3xsthefun wrote: First off, I saw a different OB today, there is actually 3 different doctors at the office I go to. I was wondering when they was going to switch me around. Not that I'm too crazy about it. I saw the only woman OB, she is ok but not my favorite one there.

My blood pressure was fine, I did pass the sugar test! The baby's heart beat was good and strong. One thing she said though I am measuring big (first time with this pregnancy) she said he might just be a big baby. She asked me if my first baby was big, I said yeah pretty big. She said she will check again next time to see how big I am measuring. I wish I would had asked her how big now. But she didn't seem to make to big of deal of it.

Also, I will be going every 2 weeks now. So I guess it means I'm gettting closer to holding my baby now.

Oh, I did gain about 7 lbs since my last appoinment

Over all it was a pretty good appointment.

Sounds like my ob office they have 5 in the practice and they hope for you to met them all at some point that way when you delever you have at least met the person before. I met 3 out of 5 and ended up see one the most and thankfully she was on call that weekend.

I'm excited but kinda sad at the same time. Excited because I'll finally be able hold my baby, sad cause this will be our last.



Well your lucky it is one you seen before. When I went into labor with Kaitlynn I had the one OB that I never saw during any of my appointments. Luckly with Maegan though I got the OB I really like, unfortunely she has the office now.
If the office she works with now wasn't so far from where we live I would had went there.

That's how my ob office is. There is 4 of them. I met all 4 of them and liked 2 of them. I ended up getting one I liked. Next time I have a baby I'll have to have a c-section again since I did with Keith so I'll get to pick which doctor I want. Probably I'll pick the same one since he did so well at keeping me calm. Him and the nurses talked about Amish people the whole time. Sure made me feel more calm. Glad your appointment went well!

Miranda1127 replied: i had the same issues with dd. i was told she would be about 9lbs and 21in (estimate of course) turned out she was 7.2 and 20in. they did head measurements to determine weight i guess she just had a big head good luck and keep well
