My Sister Just Had Baby #7! - Not a good experiance!!a little graphic

Crystalina wrote: My sis called me at about 3:30 this morning. The machine picked up before I made it to the phone and all I heard as I was tripping over furniture was her demon voice (it WAS scary) saying "Dear Lord Crystal, pick up the BLEEPing phone." She had huge blood clots coming out and when she called the doc he said to come right in.

To make a long story short about the hospital, our local one wanted to section her (she had been with the twins) and she wanted to deliver natural which put her going to a hospital about an hour away.

She tells me that she is going to the hosp. and I assumed that she was going with her DH. Well, she called me at about 9am and told me that the baby was born and then she explained about how she had to have an emergency section anyway because all the bleeding she was having while SHE DROVE HERSELF AN HOUR AWAY AT 3 AM was because the plecenta was coming out before the baby! Her blood pressure when she got there was 82/20! They said that she could have bled to death and that the baby would have surely died if the plencta came out first. When she got there the baby was unresposive but now that he's born they said he should be fine.

I asked why she didn't take her DH and she said because she didn't want to wake the other kids or have to call someone to come and watch them. He tried to go with her but she's as stubborn as ever and said she's done it before and it was no biggie. I guess the bleeding didn't get real bad until AFTER she was on the way.

All worked out for the best though.user posted image

Did one of the twins pass on early, while in the womb? You said she had been with twins but the story ends with mention of only a baby.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Holy cow, now I understand the desire to do something you've done before yourself. However, when you are already bleeding, that is unsafe. When she's feeling better someone needs to light into her. But I am glad the outcome was good.

Crystalina replied:
Yes, her last pregnancy was with twins, Nickolas and Nathan. She had to have a csection with them. All of her other births were natural and she wanted this one to be the same but our local doc wouldn't do it so he gave her the name of one that would.
Sorry about not being too clear wink.gif
