My Dh is the biggest baby - about presents

So, He says I want to open a good one. So, I say ok, and tell him to open this one, b/c if I don't he will pout and bother me until Christmas. Well, the present he opened I spent a whole 4.00 on and put one of my company hats in...lol

He says so this is my big present? I said yes dear. You wanted some hunting stuff, so I got you that bone saw. Looked him right in the eye when I said it.

This morning on our way into to town he looks at me and says when you where at the hunting store you didn't see those really nice hunting knives I told you about. I looked him in the eye and said , yes but I wasn't willing to pay that price. That is why I got you the bone saw on clearance for 4.00. You could just see him deflate.. I explained to him how I couldn't see paying 200.00 for a knife. ON and On I went about what a waste it was...Well it is really at the jewerly store being ingraved with his intials.

That is what he gets for being a baby.

My2Beauties replied: Awww he will be so surprised when he wakes up on Christmas morning Don't you hate that when someone just wants to ruin it for you though? UGH!

DH and I usually give our gifs early to each other, we have such a hard time waiting, but we are doing better since having Kaitlin and he does better when he shops late and wraps late that way he is not tempted to give them to me early.

I don't wrap any of my DH's early because he always guesses what they are.

oh I hate that, my DH will guess as he opens them, and usually he is right. takes all the fun out of it.

So this year I asked him even if you know or think you know what it is please dont say it out loud. I also try and wrap his in usual boxes.

Same here!!! Scotty can guess what anything is! I could have it in 5 different boxes inside a big box and I still can't fool him!
