We are driving and pulling a trailor with all their and my stuff so it feels like home to them there. Any tips to make this eaiser on them. There dad is going to be in ct for at least 6 months since he is going to be with some girl he met off line. How do I make this eaiser on them with everythign ?
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ick. Sorry to hear that... when i move... i only pack the things i want and can absolutely not leave behind. The rest gets given away / tossed...
flirtycuddle replied: I'm taking the toys they play with and the furniture we need like beds and such. Then the stuff that just cant be given up alot will be give away.
luvmykids replied: Be sure to pack a few days worth of clothes, toys, medicines etc so you don't have to go digging through boxes right off the bat. I also pack an "unpack first" box, with my necessities like toilet paper, coffee pot and coffee, etc...things I need at my fingertips right away
sparkys2boys replied: I agree and make sure you have any important papers that can't take a chance in getting lost with you in your purse.. like birth certificates, health cards etc. Hope you have a smooth move and the kids get along good
gr33n3y3z replied: Let us know when you get there
grandma replied: Good luck with your move! I'd say whatever you can live without, don't move. Less is more...lol
lisar replied: I agree. I did this when we moved. And marked the boxes. I also say everything you pack make sure you write on the box what is in that box. It made it much easier for me.
flirtycuddle replied: Everything is being packed in rubbermaid things so its easier and seperated. Such as clothes, toiltires, and so on so that I can find everything later as i need it. We are gonna have a 7 hour drive or so with my momin a small car pulling a trailor so that hsould be so fun lol. Hoping I get a portable dvd player or maybe just use an inverter so that I can play movies on my laptop for the kids lol.
Calimama replied: I hope the move goes well!
momofone replied: I think at the kids ages they are very resilient and will do just fine and be happy to be able to see there family more often. I hope everything goes well for you.
MyBabeMaddie replied: I think the kids will do fine with the move as long as they have their mommy. Good luck!
