More On Spencer

Kirstenmumof3 wrote: Hi Everyone it's Kirsten. I know that my DH has given you and update and I thank you all for your prayers and support. Here's what happened in less than 24 hours Spencer hemoglobin dropped from 95 to 38. The admitted us immediately and he was given a blood transfussion, which brought his hemoglobin up to 115. They still cannot account for such a drastic drop and the doctors here in Toronto are running a lot of tests. The doctor that spoke with me yesterday told me that Spencer's bone marrow has stopped making the baby white cells (cannot remember the technical term for it) and did not react to such a drop in his hemoglobin. They are going to do another bone marrow biopsy on Tuesday. So now we are not sure what is happening. We have been able to get out on passes and I'm at DH's aunts house right now. I'm just in shock. I will keep you all updated as often as I can. But I think we are going to be here in Toronto longer than we thought.
